STAGE WORK
Julie's a Tony Award-winning actress for "Marriage-Go-Round."
When the Tallulah Bankhead "Ziegfeld Follies" show closed out of town (despite the knock-out costume for Julie as the star Ziegfeld girl...pictures turning up in Playboy) Julie made her Broadway debut as the ballerina in "Silk Stockings"
Then came the dynamic "Stupefin' Jones" appearance in "Lil Abner."
An intriguing role was opposite Walter Matthau in "Once There was a Russian," but the comedy closed a bit too quickly for most fans to come see it. She would later work with co-star Albert Salmi in a memorable "Twilight Zone" episode
She's also toured in many plays and musicals including "Stop The World I Want to Get Off," "Damn Yankees," "Dames at Sea," "The Women," and "The Only Game in Town."
