Just saw the Go-Gos last night in Atlanta. Unlike their Wisconsin appearance, the amphitheater here was almost full and the crowd was totally into it. The ladies rocked, from Vacation to Let's Have a Party. It was a revvin' fun time for all and they all l oked great. Go Go-Go's!

I caught the same show that the host of this site saw and I can only say that it was the B-52's night. People were up and dancing all through their set - and requested and received a two song encore, something that went unasked for with the Psychedelic F rs. The reception the Go-Go's received could only be described as warm, at best. I was gratified to see that the B-52's haven't lost their touch, and can only hope that the Go-go's find the old magic once again.

Saw last nights show at Pine Knob. They put on a good show but not great. The sound was not the best, many times drowning out Belinda's voice, especially on "Our lips.."and "Vacation" The overall buzz from the crowd after their performance was disappointm nt. The show lacked the fire,except Jane who I think stole the show with her vibrant personality(always smiling).Even though this was the go-go's I think everybody expected Belinda to sing a few of her songs. I don't know how they expect to close some of he shows after the B-52's. The crowd sat for the entire show until the end.."Our lips" and "We got the beat". The crowd was up dancing and rocking for the entire B-52 performance.

Hello, I think it's really cool that there are so many websites & pages on The Go-Go's.There seems to be alot of information on here to read,I will read it all when I have time.My favorite Go-Go is Jane Wiedlin, remember seeing The Go-Go's on Friday Night Videos back in the early eighties.I always thought she was a babe.I thouht she still looked pretty good on The List.I hope they rerun that episode again because I only saw a few minutes of it before I went to b d.Got my ticket to see them in Milwaukee!!!!!!!

SAN DIEGO UPDATE!! For those of you who tried to purchase tickets for the August 6th show through ticketmaster.com must have scratched your heads quite a bit. Like what's up with the seating chart!! I tried to make sense of the pricing and the location which DID NOT correspond to the chart provided by this venue. Basically, it's a bust for me. I'm gonna have to take a chance on the night of the show to redeem "scalped" tickets. Gosh knows I've been lucky in the past (got in to see Ricky Martin last N vember at a sold out event for $10.00!!). So for those discrouraged ones, this is yet another lame attempt of ticketmaster at misrepresentation and overcharging its loyal customers. Ticketbuyers must not despair. Hey, gogo's are one of my favorite rockand roll bands, ever. I want to see them on the charts again. I've thought about something for a long time and I need to share it with you. There was an old Chuck Jackson R and B rocker from 1964 (on Wand Records-Li e the Kingsmen) called "Beg Me." Great song, Great beat, incredible energy-very obscure potential cover. This song is a great little chestnut, and would be nothing but fresh for rock/pop listeners, including longtime fans. I feel it is a perfect match for the group and would be a great vehicle to get the gogo's back on the charts. The Go-Go's concert last night was phenominal at the Greek Theatre. Belinda held up well, Kathy was pretty, Jane was cuter than cute can say (she sang "Cool nights"} with the Sparks on the warm-up. Charlotte and Jane played awesome strings, and Kathy play d strings for one go-around as well as bass for the rest. Gina impressed me most with her outstanding endurance. Way to go Go-Go's.
