The "Monkees" project was an incredible experience. I never thought I'd get the chance to be a part of project that involved absolutely everything I love: acting, music, singing, and dancing. Newsies was the last project I did that incorporated all these gamuts of performing. The Monkees songs (i.e. "I'm a Believer", "Daydream Believer", "Steppin' Stone", etc.) propel Daydream Believers. It's an uplifting story that shows how they started, their sudden success, their relationship, and much more. I have to say my favorite days were the ones where we performed in a huge stadium in front of 600 screaming fans (extras). The director gave us the freedom to improvise, dance around, and go crazy. I felt like I was a rock star.

Hey guys...I have some Aaron news.. Over the past three weeks, I was an extra/background person in Aaron's new movie, Daydream Believer. Anyhow, wrapped up on Friday [yesterday] the 14th, so the film is now being edited and according to the producers on set, should be out by early June. It will show on TMN and MuchMoreMusic in Canada, and VH1 in the States. On set on March 28th, Aaron had to do a scene where he jumped off his drum kit and slid onto the ground on his knees...the jump was a success--but he ripped his pants right up the back! He grinned and covered his ass as he walked off set. On set last Thursday [April 13th], Aaron's fly broke, but he was able to, erm, fix it himself. ;) He doesn't seem to have the best luck with his costumes.

Hello everyone. I am writing to say that I think the site is very sweet and I know Aaron feels the same way. I played Mike in Daydream Believers and became good friends with Aaron over a short period of time. We have kept in touch since. He is a fantastic person. Very kind and down to earth. You picked a great guy to focus on. Anyway, I heard about this site, checked it out, and thought it might be fun to write in with my 2 cents worth. Keep up the flattery, Aaron deserves it. I can honestly say that he is one of the nicest dudes I know.

...my sister and my best friend both had a geometry teacher named Mr. Lohse. Mr. Lohse used to teach in California and he had Aaron Lohr in his class when he- Aaron- was seventeen. My best friend, Elizabeth, asked him about Aaron and he said: "Um, let's see....I don't know. He was a nice kid, really bright. It was seven years ago." (This one just me up *g* - Liz)

...ok, I'm in contact with Ele Keats ("Sarah" from Newsies), and I asked her about Aaron and here is her response: "Aaron was great. He was always joking around and trying to cheer up anyone who was in a bad mood."

Hey MG and Liz!
I've got to tell you that on 5/16, I went to see the "Selena: a musical celebration of life." And I loved it! I have been a Selena fan since she first came out and this was a great tribute. Since I sat in the balcony, I wasn't competely sure that it was Aaron whom played Chris Perez, but I was pretty sure he was. He gave a wonderful performance. He has such a beautiful voice. Every girl melted when he and Selena sang "I Could Fall in Love with You". Plus Aaron can sign (sing? - LC), well. It was a wonderful play. It had music, it had laughter, it had tears. And a good looking leading man. After the show was over, there was time for q&a. Many s asked for a hug. And on our way out, a couple of s in my group and I ran to where Aaron was I got to hug him, and I got his autograph. It was so cool. :)

First of all the show was great, I mean really enjoyable. I would have enjoyed it without Aaron it was that good.(But Aaron made it better :) ) The seats we had were better then I thought they would be, we were about 40-50ft from the stage which is pretty close. I was there w/ my dad and my two friends Mary and Amber (who is just as in love with him as I am!) we were all so excited and my heart jumped when the overture begin, because I knew that I was about to see Aaron, he is the second person to appear on stage. After the character of Georgia talks about it being a 's night, two steel (the whole stage has steel borders) walls parted and there was Aaron in a steel color suit holding a suitcase with a little smirk on his face. Georgia comes over to him and begins to feel his body, which I would have liked to do and before getting to his crotch area he grabs her hand his smirk grows a bit, because after a quick pass she removes his pant! I mean just rips them right off to reveal the best looking legs I have ever seen. Aaron continues to do his little , sliding on the ground, twirling in the air and at that point all with a leopard print thong! I can't believe I'm sitting there not only looking at his great 100% muscular body but his cute bare butt as well! It was just a site to be hold! Soon he pulls a phone out of that area and covers what he can with his briefcase and takes off his leopard thong, only to have a black one underneath. Believe me after that I was breathless and that was just his first scene!
At the begin through set changes Aaron will pop up dancing in a thong with s in the audience (including us) screaming at the top of our lungs for him. Throughout the show we see pictures of Aaron in a y pose on posters for the Chip n Dale shows. The other time we see Aaron is in a bathroom scene where Jerry and Dave are hiding out in an all women's club to see why women like these men so much, there they met Aaron. In a thong again and is getting changed into a y y cowboy outfit! They each through a little dirt in each others faces and they call Aaron's character Keno a fairy , Jerry tries to punch Keno misses and Aaron punches Jerry to the ground "Fairies 1, Christians 0" as Keno would put it and Aaron flexes :). Aaron talks about his job and how they should be careful not to end up at Walmart since the steel plat closed. Aaron appears in two more scenes (sorry ladies he has clothes on but there tight ones!)after the bathroom scene which is a long one, and in the other two ones he tells Jerry asks how he can be one and a whole conversation about Aaron giving advice and the end when his wishes the guys good luck.
The best moment of the evening came with the final song because the cast that is not stripping in the final number comes down the aisles and Aaron came down the middle one which made him only 5-10ft away from me! Oh my God he was so gorgeous up close me and my friends and I went wild when we saw him. He walked around in our area for a while and then ducked down so people in the back could see the six leads go the Full Monty! The audience gave them a standing ovation and everyone in the audience loved Aaron and cheered for him when he bowed. Me, Mary and Amber were screaming out his name, everyone heard us I wonder if he did?
Now the part that Aaron plays in Buddy "Keno" Walsh the Chip n Dale who inspires the character of Jerry to basically do a gig like his inorder to make some quick cash, so Jerry can keep seeing his son. Keno is has an ego and likes to prove that he is not a fairy and that he can still kick-ass. Keno can't believe Jerry and the guys would even try to be s but at the end he is supportive of their choice to go to the Full Monty and wishes them luck so he can hurry back to his seat. Aaron does a great job as Keno he really fits the part. And form seeing his performance Aaron Lohr has grown up to be a handsome, y and still an awesome performer.
The night was amazing and I have images burned into my memory that I will never forget and don't plan on. Aaron, oh Aaron there was nothing like seeing him live! But now I must wait of his next gig, depending on if he stays w/ the tours entire run or leaves like some actors do. Oh well I can wait till then, this memory will last for that amount of time. :)

Even though "Radiant Baby" was almost a year ago, I decided to finally e-mail you over at Absolutely Aaron and let you know about my experience now. I saw it on 2/15/03 (the day after Valentine's Day) and I must say it was a day I will never forget. My seats were about 3 to 4 rows away from the stage and the show was absolutely amazing, no matter what those critics said. Afterwards, I waited around in the theatre to meet him and, sure enough, about 5-10 minutes later he arrived. I always thought it would be hard for me to approach him, but when he walked out I somehow found myself walking right up to him and introducing myself. He was extremely friendly and down-to-earth, not at all like I had originally expected. I got him to sign my "Daydream Believers" DVD, as well as my original opening night ticket for Radiant Baby (he now has the other one) since I was unable to attend that night. We took a few pictures and talked for a good 15 to 20 minutes about everything from how he was adjusting to the cold NYC weather to other "Newsies" actors, namely Gabe Damon and Max Casella (who happens to make appearances on "The Sopranos," Aaron's current favorite TV show). He was also greatly humbled by the fact that he has fans, he was very surprised to find that there were 4 or 5 of us waiting around after the show to meet him. I have never been able to forget that day and I hope I get to see him again soon, it was an experience I would love to go through again.
