Anti-Smoking Lobbyist complain about the "Excessive use of cigarettes and Alcohol" by Alicia's character in her new movie Excess Baggage. Director Marco Brambilla states that this behavior is necessary to show the troubled nature of her character. I personally believe that the Anti-Smoking Lobbyist should just stay out of it. If Alicia wants to do this in her movie it's her business. She is just playing a character. I do not believe in censorship of any kind.

Monty Silverstone(Alicia's Father) will be releasing a family biography entitled "The Silverstones: From Alice to Alicia". Look for it in bookstores later this year.

New Alicia Movie: Blast from the Past is about a man, Calvin, who mistakenly assumes there's a nuclear attack (Cuban missle Crisis) and sends his family into a shelter in 1962. They go into their bomb shelter and come out 30 years later to find that the world has changed. Alicia will be joined by: Brendan Fraiser, Christopher Walken, Sissy Spacek and Dave Foley. Filming began in Febuary.

New Alicia Movie: Alicia is set to star in and produce Stand By Your Man. The new project is based on an original screenplay by veteran TV writer Andy Borowitz, who is best known as the creator of "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" series starring Will Smith. Silverstone will play a Southern girl from the wrong side of the tracks who manipulates her way to overnight fame by romancing and marrying America's most notorious murderer as he awaits his highly publicized execution. Her 15 minutes tick by quickly and soon turns to misery when her "husband" is found innocent and released after the real killer confesses.
