When I first saw this movie with my friends I really enjoyed. It wasn't just because of the fact that Ethan was in it. Then I didn't really like him. I actually didn't start linking him until after I saw the movie. (I also started liking Seth Green, but I won't get into that.) The movie actually was really good. Basically the movie is about a party held after a High School graduation. In it, Preston (Ethan Embry) decides he's going to finally confess his love for Amanda (Jennifer Love Hewitt). Preston has liked her for years, and now's his chance to tell her that since she just broke up with her boyfriend. Other interesting characters are the "Yearbook Girl" played by Mellisa Joan Hart (Sabrina the Teenage Witch) and Amanda's cousin, who happens to like Amanda. (Don't worry, they're not blood related.) It's a really great movie to see, and if you've already seen it, see it again. It's just as good the second time.
Now that the graduation ceremony is over at Huntington High, it is time for the real festivities to begin at the graduation party. Aspiring writer Preston Meyers (Embry) has been in love with beautiful class knock-out Amanda Beckett (Hewitt) since freshman year. Now is his big chance to proclaim his adoration for her before he leaves town the next day.
