Jonathan Stevens Jackson was born in Orlando, Floridaon May 11, 1982. At six weeks of age, Jonathan moved to his father's boyhood home near Vancouver,Washington, with his dad, Ricky Lee, mom, Jeanine,older sister, Candice, and older brother, Richard.
Jonathan has always enjoyed entertainment in many forms including playing guitar and singing. When he was invited to perform at his dad's country music concert a few years ago, he was ready. The crowds loved him and he was hooked on performing. He has also done many comedy skits and impersonations on cable TV, at county fairs, and has performed in various school and church Talent Shows. He's also enjoyed doing some studio recording.
Balance continues to be a key in Jonathan's life. He is an outstanding athlete, excelling in basketball and baseball. Other interests include fencing, horseback riding, rollerblading, Karate, and collecting moviememorabilia.
In 1991, Jonathan decided to try his hand at acting,and took classes at ABC Kids in Portland, Oregon. Jonathan loved it, did very well at it, and in 1993 when he had the opportunity to try out the Hollywood scene, he jumped at it. He caught on fast, and soon had done several national commercials. Next he landed a choice contract role as "Lucky" on ABC's General Hospital,which has leaded him in winning many awards such as The Daytime Emmy's (winner in 1995,1998,1999), Soap Opera Award, and Young Star Award for his performance.Jonathan made his feature film debut in 1993 starring in the summer comedy, "Camp Nowhere." playing Mud Himmel. He has also starred in two television movie,"The Legend of Ruby Silver," in which is plays a kid who's lost his father and winds up searching for a legendary silver mine. Then he played opposite his brother Richard in , "Prisoner of Zenda, Inc." which he plays two roles. Both TV movies came out in 1996. In March 1999, the release of The Deep End Of The Ocean marks Jonathan's real film debut, as he co stars with beautiful Michelle Pfeiffer.He's also been a guest on several talkshows, and has been invited to many celebrity charity events. Jonathan has also enjoyed performing in live theater productions.
