RECAP: Liz officially moved into the Spencer house. Laura and Liz had a talk about her feelings for Lucky. Lucky and Liz shared a tender moment as they talked about not rushing anything in their relationship.

It had been a week since Liz moved into the Spencer house. She had decorated the room which was looking more and more like hers everyday. Lulu had instantly became Liz's biggest fan; she begged Liz to read her stories, to play makeover with her, and to have tea-parties with her. Liz was the little sister her whole life. She never had the chance to be the big sister, she was instantly in love with the idea of being one. Who wouldn't fell in love at the first sight of Lulu? She was simply adorable! Liz had been happy to do everything with Lulu. In the morning, she and Lucky would share breakfast together before they leave for school together. It amazed her that Lucky was the wonderful cook that he was. She thought of the time she tried cooking for him, and shook her head with a smile. She could never compare to Lucky on that department. It must be one of the "self-sufficient Spencer" requirements. Occasionally she tried helping Lucky in the kitchen, flipped the eggs, stirred the batter, peeled the potatoes. But for the most part, Lucky was the cook when they were in the kitchen. He would make someone a wonderful husband someday, she thought. Then blushed. Who was she kidding? She was actually thinking that he would make her a wonderful husband someday. She shook her head at that thought. They were 16 years old. She looked down at the ring on her ring finger. She gently rubbed the ring with her finger. They never really talked about what this ring really meant. She had put it on her left hand because she had wanted to. In her heart, Lucky was the only person she was going to be with for the rest of her life. He didn't seemed to mind that she put it on that finger. Maybe he had the same sentiment? Liz was smiling to herself when the knock on the door startled her.
Liz: Come in.
Lucky opened the door and poked his head in.
Lucky: Hi.
Liz:(smiling) Hi.
Lucky walked in the room, left the door open. He had been careful to do that ever since Liz moved in. He walked over to Liz's desk and sat down at the corner of her bed. Her face seemed a little flustered. He wasn't sure. Maybe he was paying just a bit too close attention to everything concerning Liz. But he couldn't help it. He loved watching Liz playing with Lulu with such genuine joy and patience. He loved watching Liz's unbelievable expression when he cooked. He loved the way Liz tried to help him out in the kitchen and wasn't sure exactly what to do. He loved the way she sat right by him when they had breakfast together, and smiled at him. He loved walking to school with her every morning. He loved kissing Liz good night every night and knowing that she was right down the hall in the other room. He even loved going into the bathroom they shared and saw her shampoo and soap around the tub. He flinched a bit inside. Lucky Spencer was turning into a mush. He didn't think that was ever going to happen. He wondered how Luke had felt when that happened to him. He didn't have to ask him to know that had happened to him just as it was happening to him. Mom was definitely dad's soft spot. And Liz was his. He smiled at Liz.
Liz: Did you come in here just so you could smile at me?
Lucky: Can't I do that?
Liz: (smiling ) Sure, no objections over here.
Lucky: Good, I might just want to do that more often.
Liz: As long as I get to do the same.
Lucky: What? Come to my room just to smile at me?
Liz: Uh-Hm. And maybe......this....( leaned over and kissed Lucky softly)
Lucky: You won't get any objection from me either.
Lucky toyed with a string of Liz's hair with his fingers. He just stared at Liz with a goofy smile on his face which was mirrored back on Liz's face.
Lucky: It's Saturday. What do you have planned today?
Liz: Well, I have an invitation to a tea-party at four this afternoon.....other than that, I am pretty much free.
Lucky: Good, let's go.
Liz: Where are we going?
Lucky: I don't know. Out of this house. Anywhere you like.
Liz: Anywhere I like?
Lucky: Anywhere you like. As long as we are not going shopping.
Liz: ( laughing ) Twice in one week? I wouldn't do that to you. Actually, I just want to take a walk with you. How about if we just walk down to the docks? I miss that place.
Lucky: That sounds good. I can't think of a better way of spending the day than taking a walk with you, and maybe go build a sand castle at the beach?
Liz: In February?
Lucky: Hey, we'd be the only ones there.
Liz:( smiling ) Well, all right. Sand castle it is.

Lucky and Liz walked slowly, hand in hand. They talked, laughed, exchanged little smiles, little kisses. The wind was cold, yet they barely felt it. The world had seemed different since they knew they weren't going to part after all. Everything was lovely, and happy again. They got to the docks, and saw Nikolas as they came down the steps. Lucky stopped when he saw Nikolas. Liz looked over to him. Lucky and Nikolas had been somewhat civilized to each other for a few months now. She knew that the mutual concern for Laura after she testified at Stefan's trial had made that possible. Of course, Nikolas' keeping his promise to her didn't hurt either. But for the both of them to realize that they were both concerned for Laura, they had to admit the fact that they were brothers. Lucky wasn't ready to deal with that. He had been trying to keep away from Nikolas as much as possible after the whole deal had settled. Luke had found his way back to Laura. That was the end of any reason for meeting Nikolas other than when he was visiting Lulu. He hadn't even been able to accept his offer of letting him use the Cassadine private jet to go see Liz after she was in London. He simply didn't want to face the fact that he had a brother. A brother he was beginning to not think of as an enemy. A brother that had seemed willing to build the bridge between them from the ground up. A brother he knew that loved the same mother and the same sister that he, too, loved.
Lucky: Elizabeth, let's go.
Liz: Lucky, he is not your enemy.
Lucky: I wish he was.
Before Liz could respond to that, Nikolas saw them. He smiled at Liz, and his gaze stopped on Lucky. Lucky was looking at him as well. No one said a word for a minute. Nikolas walked toward them.
Nik: Hi, Elizabeth, I heard that you decided to stay after all. I am glad you did.(Looking over to Lucky) Some.....people would have been very sad if you left.
Liz:( smiling ) I am glad I stayed as well. I would miss Lucky terribly if I left.
Nik: ( nodding, looking at Lucky again) Hi, Lucky.
Lucky: ( reluctantly) Hi. We were just about to leave, come on, Elizabeth.
Liz: Lucky.........hold on. ( turned to Nikolas) Nikolas, I have an invitation for a tea-party from Lulu, and I am sure she would love it if you can come join us. It would be a wonderful surprise for her.
Lucky was looking at Liz sternly, but she tried hard to pretend not to see it. Nikolas hesitated for moment before he spoke.
Nik: I would be honored to be the surprise guest at Lulu's tea-party. What time shall I be there?
Liz: The tea starts at four, but come on over a little earlier than that so she will have time to prepare for an extra guest, would that be all right?
Nik: Yes, that would be fine. I will see you this afternoon then.
Liz: Good, see you then.
With that, Nikolas nodded at Lucky who nodded back unnaturally, turned around and walked away. Lucky waited till Nikolas was gone before he turned to Liz.
Lucky: Why did you do that?
Liz: Why not? You can't honestly say that Lulu is not going to be thrilled when she sees Nikolas there for the tea-party.
Lucky: That....that's not the point.
Liz: No? Then what is?
Lucky: It doesn't matter. You didn't have to invite him.
Liz: Lucky, you have to stop this.
Lucky: Stop what? This has nothing to do with me.
Liz: Yes, it does, Lucky. This has everything to do with you. You need to stop running away from dealing with this. It's me. Elizabeth, remember? I know you don't hate Nikolas any more. Maybe you never have. You were beginning to feel for Nikolas because he never had Laura by his side when he was growing up. You were the one that had her by your side. Yet, he doesn't hate you. He even tries to be nice to you. You stood in my room and told me all of those things. And it's time you come to peace with the fact that you have a brother.
Lucky: HALF-brother.
Liz: Fine, half-brother. Still a brother. You can have a chance to get to know him now that the Cassadines and the Spencers are not at war any more. Helena is gone. She was the Cassadine you hated. You would work for her, but you won't give Nikolas a chance to know you?
Lucky: Elizabeth, why can't you just leave it alone?
Liz: Because I can't stand to see you suffer. Lucky, you know I am right. Nikolas has been trying to be nice to you. Don't you think you should give it a chance? You are his only brother, and he is your only brother.
Lucky: I never asked for one!
Liz: Well, you didn't ask for Lulu either, but look how much you love her! And for the record, your mom said when you were little, you asked if they would give you a brother. Granted, Nikolas doesn't have Luke as his father, but he has Laura as a mother. How bad can he be?
Lucky: I really should keep you and mom away from each other. I have no secrets any more.
Liz: ( chuckling) Lucky, admit it. You are fascinated by the fact that you might actually have a brother. A real brother. I used to say I hate Sarah too. But I knew even then, it would make me really sad if anything happened to her.
Lucky: I remember that. You were so worried about her when you thought she and Nikolas had........( stopping)
Liz: ( softly) Lucky, give it a chance. You have nothing to lose.
Lucky: That's what you think. What if I actually.....like the guy?
Liz: ( smiling) You'll never know if you don't give him a chance.
Lucky looked at Liz for a moment. She was still smiling at him. He closed his eyes, and sighed. How could he argue with her when everything she said had been right? He had thought of all of the same thing himself even though it was hard for him to admit it. But maybe it was time he gave into the urge to find out about what it might be like to have a brother. He looked at Liz. He could see in her eyes that she believed in him. She believed that he would do the right thing. She believed that he would face everything head on, and not run away. He sighed again. And Liz knew exactly what he was thinking. She kissed him tenderly, her lips soft and sweet. She held his hand and started home.
Liz: Come on, Spencer, the sand castle can wait. We've got a tea-party to go to.
