THE CHARACTERS
CLOUD- Cloud writes restaurant reviews for magazines across the city. He's dating Aeris. He's a very good-looking, nice guy.
AERIS- Aeris is in training to be a hair stylist for the movies, and is dating Cloud. She's kind and sweet.
TIFA- Tifa sometimes bartends at her bar, 7th Heaven, but only when she feels like it. She's nice, and writes short stories for a hobby. She has the worst love life ever, despite being very attractive.
YUFFIE- Yuffie arranges flowers at Wall Market Florists, and shares an apartment with Tifa and Aeris. Her father spoils her, so she spends all her time buying expensive outfits and getting her hair done.
VINCENT- Vincent writes movie screenplays, but so far hasn't written anything popular.
RENO- Reno is an unsuccessful actor, who cares about only two things: himself, and women!
ELENA- Elena is one of Reno's best friends, and a successful talent agent, Reno's agent.
RUFUS- He owns a huge corporation that makes all kinds of products, named Shinra Works.
SCARLET- Scarlet is the vice-president of Shinra Works.

ACT I
*SCENE I*
INT. THE GIRLS' APARTMENT LIVING ROOM-- AFTERNOON
(Cloud and Aeris are on the couch, embracing, and kissing passionately. They stop for a second.)
AERIS: Is there anything more romantic than a rainy day, Cloud?
CLOUD: Yep... A rainy night.
(She smiles at him, and they start kissing again. They hear the door open, and move away from each other quickly. Tifa steps through the door, carrying a bag of groceries.)
TIFA: Damn it, I'm soaked. Ugh, I just want to take a warm bath, and... (Noticing Aeris and Cloud.) Well, you two sure must be having fun just sitting there!
CLOUD: (Annoyed.) We were talking.
TIFA: Sorr-EE. It's really coming down out there, isn't it?
AERIS: Yeah, it is! (Suggestively.) Hey, Cloud, why don't we go look at the rain through the window in *my room*?
CLOUD: (Not getting the message.) I don't want to look at the rain...
AERIS: Sure you do! (VERY suggestively.) In my room!
CLOUD: (Getting the message.) Ah! (Laughing knowingly.) Of course. (They both leave the room.)
(Tifa starts putting away the groceries, when Yuffie comes in, with a huge shopping bag. She is soaked, but doesn't seem to care.)
YUFFIE: Woohoo! New outfits! Woohoo! (Grins at Tifa, and walks right into Aeris' room.)
*SCENE II*
INT. AERIS' ROOM-- AFTERNOON
(Cloud and Aeris are kissing passionately on the bed. When they hear the door open, they stop kissing, once again. Yuffie walks in.)
YUFFIE: Hey, hey, new clothes! Check them out! New clothes! Woo!
AERIS: (Annoyed.) Great, Yuffie.
YUFFIE: Oh, please let me show you all of them!
CLOUD: Uh, Aeris and I were just watching the rain here.
YUFFIE: Ooh, I'm gonna watch it too! (She bounces onto the bed, and looks out the window.) Ooh! I could watch this for hours, it's so pretty!
(Aeris and Cloud glance at each other desperately.)
YUFFIE: Each drop is like a gorgeous crystal! (Annoyed.) Oh, come on, you guys, you aren't even watching!
CLOUD: (Rolls his eyes.) Aeris and I need to go outside now... To, uh... Oh, to hell with it! (He picks Aeris up in his arms, and carries her out.)
YUFFIE: (Watches them go, then shrugs, and turns back to the window.) Ooh, drip, drop, drip, drop... (In a horrible, loud singing voice.) I'm siiiiiiiiinging in the raiiin!
TIFA: (From the other room.) Put a sock in it!!
YUFFIE: This is inspiring! I... I have to write a poem! (She looks for some paper and a pen, then starts to write.)
*SCENE III*
INT. KITCHEN-- AFTERNOON
(Cloud and Aeris are kissing each other passionately on the kitchen table. Vincent suddenly walks in on them.)
VINCENT: Wow, when you guys get cooking, you guys REALLY get cooking! (Glances around the kitchen.) Pun intended. (He walks over to the freezer, and takes out some microwave chocobo, which he heats up in the microwave.)
AERIS: (Dryly.) You're hilarious.
CLOUD: Come on, honey. (He picks her up again, and carries her out.)
VINCENT: (Eating some of the chocobo.) Hm, tastes like chicken.
YUFFIE: (Running into the kitchen.) Check it out, check it out! Check out this neat poem I wrote! Ok, here goes!
Rain goes drip drop, Drip drip drop! The rain is very, very cool, And it makes me think of Vincent, Who is also cool. But the rain drips and drops, And it's very neat.
Like it??
VINCENT: (Blinks a few times.) Uh... It's very original... Don't most poems rhyme, though?
YUFFIE: Not this one! This one is a free verse! Woohoo, I'm already using poet slang! I've got to show a publisher! (She runs out of the kitchen.)
VINCENT: (Pauses.) This oughta be good.
*SCENE IV*
EXT. A LONELY MIDGAR ALLEY-- AFTERNOON
(Finally alone, Cloud and Aeris are now kissing in the rain. They stop for a second.)
AERIS: I've always waited for my first kiss in the rain... This is so romantic.
CLOUD: I've never kissed in the rain either.
AERIS: It's almost magical, isn't it?
CLOUD: You have no idea how much I love you.
AERIS: Yes I do, I really do.
CLOUD: Remember our first kiss?
AERIS: Yeah... I had no idea about your feelings for me, I mean, we were just friends and everything... And then all five of us went to watch that movie, and Yuffie was stupid enough not to reserve in advance! So we had to get seats of two, two and one...
CLOUD: Right, and somehow we wound up together, because I think Tifa was really mad at me that day.
AERIS: We both reached in to get some popcorn, and our fingers touched...
CLOUD: Then I looked at you, and even in the dim light, your beauty shone out like the sun.
AERIS: And we kissed... It was the best kiss I had ever received... But each kiss with you after that just gets better and better.
CLOUD: (Smiling at her.) I love you, Aeris.
AERIS: I want to be with you, always.
CLOUD: Forever. (They smile at each other, close their eyes, and lean in to kiss.)
*SCENE V*
INT. THE GIRLS' APARTMENT LIVING ROOM-- AFTERNOON
(Tifa and Vincent are watching TV. Yuffie is on the phone, reading her poem to somebody. Suddenly, you hear wild laughter from the phone.)
YUFFIE: Well, same to you, pal! (Slams the phone down.) Damn, nobody likes my poetry!
VINCENT: Maybe you need some more inspiration.
YUFFIE: Yeah? Like what!?
VINCENT: Uh... Hey, did you know that some people are inspired by cooking a chicken dinner!
YUFFIE: Really?
VINCENT: Maybe you should try that!
YUFFIE: Yeah, maybe I should! (Walking to the kitchen.)
VINCENT: Don't forget the apple pie for dessert!
YUFFIE: Gotcha!
(Yuffie enters the kitchen.)
TIFA: That was low, Vincent.
VINCENT: Who cares? Chicken makes the world go round!
*SCENE VI*
EXT. FOREST PATH-- EVENING
(Cloud and Aeris are holding hands, and walking along a little path in the forest. It's still raining.)
AERIS: Oh, Cloud, this is so romantic! And no one can interrupt us now!
(They lean in to kiss, and suddenly, lightning strikes.)
CLOUD: Oh, a storm...
AERIS: Storms are so romantic!
CLOUD: Yes, but my wristbands are metal...
AERIS: Uh oh... Does that mean you could...
CLOUD: Get electrocuted? Yes.
AERIS: (Pauses.) Let's run!
(They run off for shelter.)
*SCENE VII*
INT. THE GIRLS' APARTMENT LIVING ROOM- EVENING
(Yuffie is serving some fabulous roast chicken to Tifa and Vincent, when Cloud and Aeris step through the door, soaked.)
YUFFIE: Hey, guys! Where have you been?
AERIS AND CLOUD: Nowhere.
VINCENT: Man, Yuff... You may not be able to write poetry, but you sure can cook.
YUFFIE: What!?
VINCENT: Uh, nothing, nothing...
(Cloud and Aeris sit down to eat.)
YUFFIE: Hey, Cloud, Aeris, you have to listen to my poem!
(Everyone gets up and starts leaving.)
CLOUD: Uh, I have to go...
TIFA: I need to fold my clothes...
AERIS: Gotta clean my room...
VINCENT: I'll pass...
YUFFIE: (Annoyed.) What?
(The episode ends, and the credits start rolling!)
