The dogs and horses are some of my first drawings after leaving Russia. As soon as we arrived to this continent, I went to a shop to get art supplies. Unfortunately, we couldn't afford real art paper, and had to get a scrapbook, so anything you see on this translucent yellowish bad quality paper was done when I was 13 years old. I also didn't realise how expensive felt-tip pens were, so after my first one ran out I couldn't afford to replace it and had to continue using a pencil.
As you can see, at 13 years of age I had some sort of an obsession with horses. I also tried to learn anatomy so that my animal pictures would look more realistic. You may also notice that I prefer drawing animals and painting landscapes. I haven't included many of my pictures of humans, but I will be adding more to each category as I scan more artwork. So please, do come back at your leisure to see more artwork in my Gallery!
I am also currently quite busy illustrating a book, I might even post some of the illustrations on the site as I complete them.
