A:  No, this web page is only one fan's tribute to an outstanding actor.  I do not have an official mailing address for him.

Q:  Why aren't there more photos?
A:  As I stated on my "Images and Links" page, it is illegal to use copyrighted photos without permission.  I have several photos that I would have loved to used on this page but I didn't know where to obtain permission.  I will accept photos from other people (and give them credit) if I know the photo is not from a published source (like magazines, newspapers, etc.).  I would love to post some photos from the various plays/musicals that Mark has appeared in

Q:  Have you ever met Mark Linn-Baker?
A:  No.  I have never met him and I have never seen him in person.

Q: What's the story behind the page?
A:  I love physical comedy - plain and simple.  My passion started as a small child watching old black and white movies starring the Three Stoogies and the Marx Brothers and watching all the great television comedies like "I Love Lucy", "The Honeymooners", and "The Dick Van Dyke Show".  I got hooked on Mark Linn-Baker while he was starring in the ABC comedy, "Perfect Strangers".  I soon learned that he had starred in "My Favorite Year", "Bare Essentials" and "Wedding Day Blues".

I lost track of what he was doing after "Perfect Strangers" was cancelled.  I assumed that he had returned to New York to pursue his theatrical acting.  I wasn't sure of course, until I was flipping through TV channels one night and saw Nathan Lane singing "Comedy Tonight" on the Tony Awards.  I enjoy Nathan Lane, so I stopped for a moment to watch.  Then I saw Mr. Linn-Baker and I knew he had gone back to the theater,  After that, I just didn't wonder about his career anymore.  That is, not until I was switching channels one lazy Sunday morning and came upon the movie, "Noises Off..".  Mr. Linn-Baker appeared on the screen and all of those wonderful memories flooded my brain.  I dug out my old video tapes of "Perfect Strangers" and laughed the entire weekend.  So, I searched the internet to find everything I could about him.  I was surprised that he did not have a webpage of his own and no one had done a webpage about him.  That's when I decided to take on the project myself.  I enjoy creating webpages and I thought it would be the perfect way to pay tribute to someone who had given me so much pleasure.
