The Avion, stood at the
N.E. corner of
Sumach and Gerrard Streets.
Although the building remains and
has been turned into condominiums,
the tavern is long gone.
It was a typically
run-down Cabbagetown
drinking spot. Although fights could erupt
at any minute, it was never considered
as wild as most other neighborhood drinkeries.
