The Derby Tavern

The Derby Tavern stood at the southeast corner
of Parliament and King Streets.
It was strictly a working man's pub and was frequented
by many of the dock workers and truckers that
were employed along that part of Toronto's waterfront.

The Derby was torn down and replaced by townhouses.

I was actually photographing the PCC streetcar
since they also were about to be retired at this time.
