My Concert Review

Well guys, I went to my concert on August 5, and here's the review: First of all, we stood in line for about 2 hours, and we were about ten people away from the front. For some reason, people think that the closer they squeeze to the front, the faster they get in. People were literally shoulder to shoulder in 95 degree heat. It was miserable. For all you Steve lovers, I saw him behind the gates, and he was looking pretty good. I didn't see Billy Crawford, PYT or anybody perform, because we wanted good lawn seats. Which I must say, we got. The opening acts were Jordan Knight and Third Storee. I was a little upset that the Sugarhill Gang couldn't be there, but I'm over it now. It was pretty cool, because they announced before the concert that McGwire hit his 500th home run of his career, so that pumped everybody up. 'N Sync was amazing. Chris did a little speech about Mark McGwire's accomplishment, and made a joke saying "Who's Mark McGwire?" I bet it's not every day that 'N Sync gets booed, but let me tell ya, it happened tonight, and I wasn't surprised. I loved "God Must Have Spent...". It took Justin AT LEAST 5 minutes to finish it. They ended up bringing a little girl up after Justin pretended to try to finish about 5 times. Chris told her to say something along the lines of "I'll hold your hand, and you just finish the song!" Well, the little girl didn't know what he said, so when Chris held the microphone up for her, she was like "What do I say?" in a really loud voice. It was really funny. There were a couple mistakes. One BIG mistake was that JC's mic didn't work during Tearin' Up My Heart! That's the one where he has the big solo at the beginning, so it was all music, and the guys managed to keep dancing, but I saw JC's face, and he was still singing, but he was frantically messing with his microphone, but to no avail. The song sounded funny the whole time, because it was obvious his voice was missing. For JC's second solo, and either Justin or Chris took it, but you could tell he wasn't used to it, because it just didn't sound right. Then, during "Sailing", poor JC had another problem. They set him down in the middle of the audience. He was stuck there in the middle of a whole crowd of girls for about 30 seconds. You could tell it wasn't planned. I noticed something funny about Justin, too. As he started sailing out, he reached out to the girls like he wanted to be closer to them, but when they started lowering him, he made an up motion with his hands so they didn't lower him too much. I guess you just had to see it. At the end, when they fly again, and squirt the audience, they didn't get Chris into the air at first, so he kind of stood there doing nothing, then, as he was getting ready to just squirt the audience from the stage, he took off. Unfortunately, they made another mistake with the rigging, because this time they set Joey down right in the middle of the audience. That boy looked scared! But I do have to say that in a way, the mistakes made it even better. It added something that you know doesn't happen at every concert, so I guess you can say it made it unique. It was an amazing concert, and it was even better than I imagined it would be!
