Chicken Liver Balls



1/2 lb chicken livers 1 C water 1 C bread crumbs 1 t salt 1/4 t pepper 2 t onion, minced 1 egg, beaten
Clean and trim livers, chop very finely. Mix together water and bread crumbs in a saucepan. Stir to a paste. Cool. Add the egg, livers, onion, salt and pepper. Form into small balls. Cook in simmering soup for 15 minutes.
