Comments: Ever purposely deceived your parents? I’m sure you have, like me. I’m asking you cause I just saw East is East and that is pretty much what the movie is about. It’s about a controlling Muslim father who wants to basically dictate his seven children’s l ves around his religious beliefs despite the kids wanting to grow up as normal English kids. It is a totally different movie that is really funny because of the culture clashes in the movie and the sexual innuendoes. Another thing that I thought made th movie funny was everything in the movie is realistic. I liked the movie so much I think that I’m going to go see it again, it’s that good. Now wonder that it won Best Picture of the Year by the London Film Critics Circle. Let me know what you think if you go see it.

Comments: I am very upset that you have not yet critiqued the 13th Warrior- I expect that when you do, you will give it the full four stars that it deserves-if not for the wonderful acting, at least for the realistic and not at all boring stoyline and for the catch phrases that just capture the movie's cleverness, such as "Today was a good day" or (my personal favorite) "They're coming." This is a definitly a movie that you can watch with out downing half a water bottle full of Jack.

Comments: In about 1993 Harrison Ford signed a contract to star as Jack Ryan in three films based upon novels by Tom Clancy. Two of those commitments were met with "Patriot Games" and "Clear and Present Danger." Do you have any information about what the third will be, and when we may expect it at box offices?
