The Douglas Murders

3 by Scott K.

Constance Spano, the famous news reporter, was stuck in a closet inside a lab. She couldn’t get out since the door was locked both ways. She’d be there for a while...

ALL OF A SUDDEN, an old janitor opened the door and got scared by Constance and ran away.

"Whew!" Constance blew a sigh of relief. At least now she could get out...

Then the door closed.

"D’oh!" Constance yelled. She’d have to wait some more.

Then she saw the walkie-talkie she had. Maybe she could talk to Sabrina, who had the other walkie-talkie and tell her to get her out of there.

How exactly did Constance get in this problem? Well, it all started out when someone Sabrina knew started a big killing spree. The search to find out who it was lead them to the lab, where they were ambushed by the killer. Constance wound up in the closet and Sabrina... well, she didn’t know where Sabrina was. Maybe she was back at her school or something.

She turned on the walkie-talkie. "Sabrina? Anyone?" she said into the device. "Oh, I hope that she’s not out of range!"

For a couple of seconds she just heard static. Then, "Constance, is that you?"

"Yeah, it’s me, Sabrina!" Constance said excitedly.

"Where are you?" Sabrina asked.

"I’m still in the closet in the lab. Where are you?"

"I’m in the gym at the school. It turns out that after you got stuck in the closet, I got knocked out, and when I woke up I was in the gym and no one was there and of course it was like midnight or something and then the killer revieled his true self."

"Who was it?"

"It was two of my now former friends, Danielle and Josh."

"I know about Danielle, but who’s Josh?"

"Josh Martin. Don’t worry, it doesn’t matter anymore. They’re both dead. And so is Trent and Scott’s clones. Billy, Tracy, and Dani are looking for a phone to call 911. When the cops get here, I’ll tell them to get you out of there."

"OK, I’ll..."

There was nothing but static because the batteries were dead.

Sabrina was at the gym in the school like she said. She put the walkie-talkie like on the ground or something. She needed some fresh air, so she opened the back door that leads outside and stood near it.

Behind her were the corpses of Danielle and Josh, the killers, and Scott and Trenton, the clones.

As Sabrina was just staring at the night sky, Danielle just got up and started walking toward her slowly! Well, it wasn’t like she was a zombie or something, but she was just silently and slowly walking toward Sabrina with the intent to kill.

She grabbed her throat and started choking her.

Sabrina was totally in shock. She saw Danielle get shot in the head! How is she still alive?

Danielle’s face showed no emotion whatsoever. Her grip on Sabrina’s neck got stronger. Sabrina tried to call out, but her voice couldn’t come out. She tried clawing Danielle’s face, but she wouldn’t let go.

Billy walked in the room, saw the two struggling, got out the pistol, and shot Danielle again, knocking her out of the door.

Sabrina fell to the floor, gasping for air.

Billy ran to her side. "Are you OK?!" he asked.

"I-I’m fine." Sabrina answered.

Billy took a glance behind him at Danielle’s corpse, which was halfway through the door that lead outside.

"What happened?!" Billy asked. "I thought she was dead!!"

"I did too!" Sabrina answered.

"Did she just, like come back to life or something?"

"I don’t know, she just walked up and started choking me and stuff!"

Billy once again looked behind him. Danielle wasn’t there anymore.

He ran out the door outside. There was no trace of Danielle anywhere. Off in the distance, he heard the sirens of police cars coming. He stayed there for a couple more seconds, and ran back inside, where Sabrina was checking to make sure Josh’s body was REALLY dead.

Later, Sabrina, Billy, Dani, and Tracy were outside in the parking lot with the police interrogating them.

"So she got shot, got up again, started choking you, got shot again, and now she’s disappeared?" the sheriff asked them.

"Yeah, that’s what happened," Billy answered.

Sabrina was staring down at the pavement.

"Do you have any idea where she could be headed to?" the sheriff asked.

"No clue," Sabrina answered, still staring at the parking lot.

The sheriff turned to some other police guys. "I want you to search everywhere to find Danielle Starr. She couldn’t have gone far, since she was on foot and she disappeared only a few minutes ago."

Anna was just in her house all alone watching TV when the phone rang. She casually walked toward the phone and picked it up.

"Hello?" she said.

"Hi." said a familiar voice.

"Who’s this?" Anna asked.

"Oh, just some guy," the guy on the phone answered. He kind of sounded sort of like the killer in Scream.

"OK, am I to guess that you are a masked killer who’s hiding somewhere near my house and you’re trying to call me to get me all scared because you’re planning to brutally murder me after a long chase through my house where I almost escape but you pop out of nowhere and kill me with a knife?" Anna asked.

"You know what?" the guy on the other end asked.

"What?" Anna asked.

"You’re the first person to actually guess what I’m really going to do to you."

Anna suddenly hung up the phone. At first she thought it was a joke but she heard that some kids, including people she knew, were being stalked by some masked killer guy imitating Scream. She double checked to make sure that all the doors were locked so no one could get in.

Then she heard the windows shattering in the other room. She didn’t dare look in there. She ran to the phone and dialed 911.

"This is 911," the operator answered.

"YES! THERE IS SOMEONE IN MY HOUSE WHO’S GOING TO KILL ME IF YOU DON’T DO SOMETHING!" Anna yelled frantically.

The operator then said, "If your dog is choking, press 1."

"Huh?"

"If your house is on fire, press 2."

It turned out the operator’s voice was just a recording.

"If you are stuck in your car and can’t get out, press 3..."

Anna hung up the phone.

She walked toward the room where she heard the glass shattering. The door was almost closed, so she couldn’t see what was going on in there.

Wait a minute, Anna thought, what the heck am I doing? I should be running out the front door right now!

She turned to the front door’s direction and ran toward it. She flung it open and screamed when she saw a shadowy figure right in front of her.

But it was just some guy from next door.

"YOU GOTTA HELP ME!" the guy said. "THERE’S A MASKED KILLER IN MY HOUSE!! LET ME IN!!"

What a coincidence!, Anna thought.

"You know what?" Anna said, letting the guy walk in. "I think you’d be safest in that room over there."

"You mean the one with the closed door and the lights out?" asked the guy.

"Yeah, that’s the one," Anna answered. "There’s a phone in there and everything."

"OK," said the guy. He started walking toward the room. She knew it was cruel to send him over to the room when she knew that something was wrong in there, but she had to know if there was a killer in the room.

The guy opened the door and walked in. It seemed like everything was fine, but SUDDENLY, sure enough, a guy in a Scream costume leaped out of nowhere and stabbed his neck a few times.

Anna turned around and opened the front door, preparing to run out and scream her lungs out...

...but someone was in her way.

Standing just outside the doorway was some guy in a fisher’s outfit. She couldn’t see the face because it was so dark outside, plus the the coat thingie he was wearing went up to his face, and he was wearing a hat, so she really couldn’t see anything of him beside what he was wearing.

Then she noticed he had a hook in his hand and realized that this was someone in an I Know What You Did Last Summer costume.

Before she could say or do anything, the guy flung the hook into her stomach. She couldn’t hear what the other killer in the Scream costume was doing in the other room, but right now she didn’t care.

She managed to break free of the hook and walked unsteadily outside in the darkness. Across the street there was a bunch of people having a party in their yard, playing some really loud and annoying music.

She struggled to scream for help, but blood was being forced up her throat, muffling her cries.

Then the killer grabbed her and stabbed the hook through her back. Finally her screams were almost loud enough, but just then someone turned the music even louder!

The hook tore through her back. Finally the killer let her go and fled the scene. The other killer was nowhere to be found either.

As she was just laying there, she saw someone’s foot come down close to her head. Then the person picked her up by the neck and started choking her, as if she didn’t already have enough problems. She looked at her choker’s face.

It was Danielle. Someone she knew. Was she the one in the costume? She couldn’t think.

She lost consciousness.

Just after that a police car came. The police guys stopped the car, got out, and handcuffed Danielle and arrested her and stuff like that.

Sabrina’s eyes opened. She was in bed. Light poured in through her window.

She had slept. She didn’t think she could after what happened last night, but somehow she had been able to get tired enough to sleep. In fact, her body even ached a little from being in one position for too long.

When she got up, the phone rang. She answered it.

"Hello?" Sabrina said.

"You feeling OK, Sabrina? It’s me, Dani," Dani said on the other line.

Sabrina answered, "I’m OK, what’s up? Did they catch Danielle?"

"Yeah, they did. That’s the good news. The bad news is that before she was arrested she killed Anna.

"Oh, thank God!" Sabrina said with a sigh of relief. "Oh, not about Anna, about Danielle getting arrested. Did they really catch her?"

Sabrina did feel really bad about Anna, but that, for the moment at least, was overcome by her tremendous relief.

It was finally over.

Dani answered, "Yeah, they did. Hey, there’s like a relief thingie that me and Billy and Tracy and everybody are going to. It’s like, ‘Skydiving for Money for Stalking Victims’ or something. Neve Campbell and Jennifer Love Hewitt are going to be there."

"Hmmm, maybe I’ll go there." Sabrina said.

"Cool. I gotta go, bye."

"Bye," Sabrina said, hanging up the phone.

Sabrina arrived at the "Skydiving for Money for Stalking Victims" festival about an hour after getting up from bed. There were people floating down to the ground with parachutes and trying to land on the target on the ground.

There were tons of people, so Sabrina had a hard time trying to find Dani and Tracy and Billy and whoever else showed up. There was a place where it looked like two people were having a press conference with reporters and people and everything.

Getting closer, Sabrina realized it was the stars of Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer, Neve Campbell and Jennifer Love Hewitt.

"Stalking victims really do not have much support," Neve told the mob of reporters and normal spectators.

Jennifer continued, "That’s why we’ve decided to use our star power to support this event, so you people will spend more money, helping people, and having fun at the same time!"

Sabrina turned away and started looking for people she knew. She bumped into someone.

she said "sorry" and then looked at his face.

It was Trenton.

"No, it can’t be you," Sabrina whispered in disbelief. "You were killed-TWICE."

Suddenly it was like there were 5 Trents surrounding her. She thought it was just her hallucinating, but there definitely were 5 Trents in a circle around her.

"Hey, Sabrina," they all said at the same time.

Sabrina felt like fainting. In the distance she heard some guy talking. He pushed into the circle of Trents.

"I’m so sorry," apologized the guy. "I’m Dr. Michaels. I’m the scientist who keeps creating these clones of people." He turned to all the Trents. "What did I tell you about scaring people like that!" He turned back to Sabrina. "I’m really sorry."

"Why are you even cloning serial killers, anyway?" Sabrina asked the scientist guy.

"It’s an experiment we’re doing, to see if clones of serial killers would act the same as their originals," answered Dr. Michaels. "So far, it’s successful." He leaned closer and whispered, "Actually, 4 of the clones are of Trenton, and one is of his evil twin, Trevor. Or was it the other way around? Anyway, one of them was the evil twin and we have no idea of knowing which one it is. Of course, if the experiment is successful, you’ll have nothing to worry about."

This didn’t make Sabrina feel any better.

She continued looking for anybody she knew. Then, she found them. Dani, Billy, Tracy, Nikky (not Nikki, from Douglas Murders 2), Nik (a girl, not a guy), Ryan, Ricky, Gary, and Josh (Gehrels, not Martin).

"Oh, Sabrina!" Nik noticed Sabrina. "Sorry you haven’t seen Nikky, me, Ryan, Ricky, Gary, or Josh for a while, we went on a trip to Aspen. I’m so sorry for what happened. Don’t you feel just awful about what happened to Anna?"

"Anna?" at first Sabrina forgot about that she was dead, but then she remembered. "Oh, yeah, Anna..."

"You mean you didn’t even remember?!" Nik said.

"Well, I..."

"What, did you think for a moment that you were the only person in the whole entire universe that was getting stalked by a masked killer?" Nik said. "Well, sorry, Sabrina, there are other people that are in worse situations than you, and you’re just all bragging that you’re always the one that survives, huh?"

"But that’s not..." Sabrina tried to say.

Tracy said, "She does kinda have a point, Sabrina."

Sabrina couldn’t believe it. Her friends have turned against her.

"Sabrina, you dumb blonde," Nik said. "I hope that there’s still a killer out there and that you’re the first one to get killed by him!"

Sabrina tried to get out of there, but she bumped into Constacne.

"Oh, hi, Constance," Sabrina said.

Constance didn’t look like she was in a happy mood. "You know what?" she said. "I had to spend 5 hours locked in a closet because SOMEBODY forgot to mention to the police that I was there."

"Oh," Sabrina began. "Sorry, it just slipped my mind."

"Really?" Constance said. Constance punched Sabrina in the face.

"Apology accepted," Constance said.

Sabrina ran away, but bumped into someone AGAIN, this time it was Scott’s clone. His OTHER clone, not the one that got killed in Douglas Murders 2 (this is really getting confusing, isn’t it?). She was petrified.

"What?" Scott said. "You mean you STILL, after all this time of clones acting normally, that I’m going to try to kill you? You’re a real bitch, Sabrina!"

She started running again. Somebody behind her was calling her. "Hey, wait!" said someone. She turned around. It was some lady.

"You seem like a pretty distressed young lady," she said. "Perhaps you’d like someone to talk to? I’m Mrs. Black, the counselor for the high school. Maybe I can help you."

Usually Sabrina wouldn’t have said, "yes", but everyone she knew had turned against her. "OK, sure, whatever," she said.

Ryan, Josh, Dani, and Billy were on the plane going like 25,000 feet or something in the air so they could go skydiving. They were almost ready, but something was wrong...

"Where is the instructor?" Dani asked. "Didn’t he say he was going to be here?"

"I don’t know, he’s probably in the bathroom...." Josh started.

"Ugh," Ryan interrupted. "Don’t even finish that sentence!"

"I’ll go talk to the pilots and see what’s going on," Billy said as he walked toward the door to the cockpit.

He opened the door and walked in. Instead of the pilot, it was THE KILLER (the one dressed in a Scream costume). Before Billy could do anything the killer jabbed the knife into the side of his neck and flung him onto the seat with the dead pilot. Then the killer ran out of the cockpit.

The rest of the people (Ryan, Dani, and Josh) were in a huge panic. Ryan already had on a parachute, so he jumped out. The killer grabbed Josh, but instead of stabbing him or something, the killer threw him out the window, where his body hit the propellers. Since this was a pretty cheap plane, it started to fall.

Dani was holding on to a chair. She couldn’t see where the killer was anymore, but she was still thinking I’m going to die!! as the plane fell through the air.

Ryan was floating through the air about 10,000 ft. up with his parachute. He had to get to the ground to tell everyone what happened. A couple of minutes later, he was getting closer, BUT THERE WAS A HELICOPTER DIRECTLY UNDER HIM!!! He tried to maneuver around it, but it seemed like it matched his moves perfectly.

He screamed as his body fell into the propellers.

Inside the helicopter, the other killer (in an I Know What You Did Last Summer costume), watched as Ryan’s body was sliced into a bloody smear on the windshield.

Dani regained consciousness. She was still in the plane, which must’ve crashed into a lake or something since the cabin was almost full of water. She couldn’t see the killer anywhere. She hoped that the killer drowned or got swept away or something. She took a deep breath and swam toward the open door that lead outside of the plane, which was now completely underwater.

She had a tough time seeing, since she was in a thick green expanse where nothing was up and nothing was down. She swam where she thought she would reach the surface, but she had no way of knowing she was going the right way.

Suddenly, in the corner of her eye, she saw a light behind her. She looked back and saw some divers with a flashlight looking around the plane. She started swimming toward them, but they went behind the remains of the plane. She also swam behind the plane, and saw another figure which she thought was another diver, but she saw a knife in his hand.

It was the killer in the Scream costume.

Dani turned around and swam back around the plane. She swam back into it, thinking the killer wouldn’t see her get in, but he did. He was gaining on her. Her mind was so much on her dilemma that she almost forgot she needed more air. She tried swimming upward, but now the cabin was completely full with water. The killer grabbed her foot, but she shook him off. The killer was now in-between her and the door leading out of there, so she swam forward into the cockpit and closed and locked the door. She needed to get out of there. Her lungs ached from lack of oxygen.

The windows, er, windshield in the cockpit looked weakened from the crash, so she took the loosened chair from under Billy and the pilot’s bodies and destroyed the windshield and swam free of the airplane, but the killer was waiting for her, and he grabbed her and stabbed her until she was dead with blood floating around with the water.

The diver people saw the blood floating in the water and swam there and found Dani’s corpse. The killer was nowhere to be found.

Nik, Gary, Nikky, and Tracy were one of the hundreds of people surrounding the lake where the plane crashed. After all the stalkings, the last thing they needed was another tragedy. They were just watching silently, not being able to say anything. Gary was behind the others. He felt something like paper hit his head. He looked down at what it was and it was an envelope with his name printed on the front. He looked around. There was no one he saw that could’ve thrown an envelope at him.

He picked it up and opened it. It was a photo of him. It was of him in the park just a couple of minutes ago. At the bottom of the picture was printed in stark black letters that said, "I’m Watching You."

Sabrina was in the high school in Mrs. Black’s office. She had begun to regret coming here. She felt like she was in a psychiatrist’s office. But, she decided just to continue on with it.

"Now," Mrs. Black began. "Tell me what’s troubling you."

Sabrina said, "Well, it all started about a year ago when someone saw Scream like one too many times and went bezerk and started trying to kill me and my friends." She continued, "That someone turned out to be my friends Scott and Trent, actually, it was Scott and Trent’s evil twin brother, but that doesn’t really matter, they’re both dead and they’ve been cloned. Anyway, not too long ago my friends Josh Martin and Danielle Starr were paid to try to kill me and some more of my friends, but we stopped them. Josh is dead and Danielle’s like a zombie or something, but she’s been arrested. Anyway, my friends are like turning against me or something. they think I’m just thinking about myself all the time. It’s not like I purposely tried to hurt someone or anything. I was just... you know what, I don’t think I want to talk about it." Mrs. Black wrote down some stuff on her litle steno notepad.

Mrs. Black began. "Did you ever think that you are thinking about yourself too much?"

"No," Sabrina started. "Yeah, no... I don’t know what to think anymore. I mean, when you’re being stalked by someone, you sort of think of yourself for your own protection. I mean, it’s not like I purposely tried to hurt someone or anything. I was just... you know what, I don’t think I want to talk about it."

Mrs. Black got up and walked toward a mirror in the center of the room. Sabrina followed her. "Now look into the mirror," Mrs. Black told her, "And repeat after me. I’m good enough..."

Sabrina repeated her, "I’m good enough..."

Mrs. Black continued, "...I’m smart enough..."

Sabrina repeated what she said.

Mrs. Black finished, "...and goshdarnit, people like me!"

Sabrina repeated, "...and goshdarnit, people like me!"

"There," Mrs. Black started. "Feel better?"

Sabrina actually didn’t really feel better, but she answered, "Yeah," anyway.

SUDDENLY, something crashed through the mirror toward the two of them. It was some guy in an I Know What You Did Last Summer costume. Mrs. Black had fainted from the shock. Sabrina was just still.

Mrs. Black made for an easy target, but the killer was more interested in getting Sabrina. He went after her with his hook. Sabrina ran out of the counselor’s office and into the library. This killer was much different than the Scream ones. Instead of running after her in hot pursuit, this I Know What You Did Last Summer-dressed assailant calmly walked toward her. It wasn’t a slow walk or anything, but it was still just a walk.

Sabrina wasn’t used to the high school, after she got out of the library, she got lost in the maze of hallways. The killer was far behind her. Where is the faculty? Sabrina thought. Why is it that there’s no one present when I’m being pursued by a relentless murderer?

Finally she found a door that lead outside, but unfortunately it was just the courtyard. She ran across it, and looked behind her for just a second. She stopped when the killer was no longer behind her. Was he still inside? Sabrina again started for the other door and opened it, only to find another killer, this time one in a Scream costume, almost slice her with his shiny knife.

Sabrina screamed and turned around and started running for another door at a different end of the courtyard. The second killer was much more like the killer she was used to. Not only did he have the traditional Scream costume, he ran after her relentlessly, like in a panic to kill her or something.

Finally she reached another door. She opened it, and THIS time it was the I Know What You Did Last Summer killer. He swung his hook the same time the Scream killer behind Sabrina swung his knife at her. She ducked, and the two weapons got tangled together.

As the two killers grappled over their weapons, Sabrina escaped into another door leading inside. It was another maze of hallways, but she soon found an exit. She burst open the door to find the sheriff just outside. She yelled for him, caught up with him, and told him everything that happened.

"Is Mrs. Black OK?" the sheriff asked.

"I don’t know! Please check on her," Sabrina was in a state of shock.

"Stay here," the sheriff told her as he got out his gun and ran inside of the school.

Tracy, Nikky, Nik, and Ricky were still watching as some police guys pulled out dead bodies from the lake. They were all pretty sick. Tracy turned back to find Gary, looking a little disgusted by the whole thing.

"Are you OK, Gary?" Tracy asked.

Gary answered, "Oh-Oh, yeah. I’m OK."

Tracy noticed that Gary was holding an envelope in his hand. "What’s that?" she asked.

"It’s some note that someone threw at me," Gary answered.

"Let me see it."

Gary let her see what it was. It was the picture with Gary on it and the message, "I’m watching you."

"OH MY GOD!" Tracy screamed, grabbing the attention of most of the people surrounding her. "Do you think some stalker is responsible for the plane crash?!"

Gary didn’t look so good. SUDDENLY, his mouth filled up like a balloon and spewed puke all over Tracy. Gary passed out, and Tracy screamed and then fainted.

About 20 minutes had passed when the sheriff walked out of the building announcing that he found nothing, and Mrs. Black got hit on the head so hard she had amnesia, so she didn’t remember anything about the killers.

By now backup had come in and more police officers were swarming the place. Nik, Nikky, and Ricky were also there. They just came from the stalking victims relief fund or whatever it was called. Apparently there was a plane crash and there was reason to suspect that stalkers were involved.

Nikky walked up to Sabrina, "I’m sorry about all the things Nik said to you. She’s just really upset over everybody dying and everything. I don’t think you’re selfish and self-centered. Well, at least not THAT much. Actually, I used to think you were a bitch, but now I want us to be friends."

"OK," Sabrina said in response.

Ricky was also there. "I disagree with Nik, too. You’re not that bad. Actually, OK, you’re a bitch, but that doesn’t mean we can’t be friends."

The sheriff walked up to Sabrina. "Sabrina, you’re going to have to be put in a secret location for the next couple of days. It’s too dangerous for you to just be wandering around wherever you want."

"Secret location?" Sabrina said.

The sheriff replied, "Don’t worry, it’s a big, cozy house with a big bedroom you can sleep in. I think you’ll like it."

"If Sabrina’s going somewhere, I’m also going," Nikky demanded.

"That’s OK, since there’s another secret location house right next door to it," the sheriff said.

"What about me?" Ricky asked.

The sheriff answered, "Not you, there’s only two houses, and plus, I don’t think I like you very much, kid. For all I know you could be one of the killers."

Ricky exclaimed, "But Nikky could be one of the killers, too!"

"Shut up, kid."

The sheriff and his deputy lead Sabrina and Nikky into the car. They drove on their way to the "secret location".

It was nighttime by the time they reached the two houses. Sabrina saw that the sheriff was right. The houses did look pretty big. Not like a mansion or anything, but it looked kind of luxurious. She really wouldn’t have a problem in a house like that.

They stopped the car and the sheriff and the deputy took Sabrina and Nikky out of the car. The sheriff escorted Sabrina to her house and the deputy escorted Nikky to hers.

Her first impressions from the outside of the house were pretty accurate. She felt like she could live the rest of her life in this house. Of course, the rest of her life might not be that long...

"This probably isn’t a good time to mention this to you," the sheriff began. "But Danielle’s escaped from jail. She choked some guard to death and vanished without a trace."

"I don’t think she’s responsible for the murders that happened today," Sabrina said.

"Oh, well," the sheriff replied. "You go do whatever you want to do in here and I’ll be right here in the living room watching my favorite show."

"Is it NYPD Blue?" Sabrina asked.

"Of course not!" the Sheriff answered. "It’s the Red Shoe Diaries."

Ricky was just walking home or something when a big news van pulled up next to him. He was surprised when Constance Spano, the famous news reporter, walked out of it.

"Hi there, stud," she said.

Ricky was kind of confused. "Hey," he said back.

"You know what? My camera man and my assistant are both off today, and I could use a pair of big, strong arms to help me with some stuff in my news van. Plus, I’ll also give you a ride home. What are you doing out here anyway? It must be WAY past your bed time, little boy."

Ricky liked her flirtatious behavior, besides, he could use a ride home. It was like night time out here. It was so dark already that the sun wasn’t even up. "Sure," he answered.

Ricky followed her into her news van.

Constance grabbed his shoulders and caressed them gently. "You know what?" she asked.

"What?" Ricky asked.

"I once had this dream about this large, throbbing train went straight into a dark, cold, wet tunnel."

WHOA!! , Ricky thought. This was like something he saw in porno movies. He never thought that something like this would happen to him!

SUDDENLY the whole mood and everything was interrupted by a tapping at the driver side window. They both looked at the window to see-TA DAAAH- the killer in the I Know What You Did Last Summer costume. He was tapping the window with his hook.

"Don’t worry," Constance said. "All the doors are locked and the windows are bullet proof."

The killer walked out of their view from where they were in the news van.

"Oh my God! Oh my God!" Constance said nervously. "Where’s he going? What’s he doing?! Don’t panic, don’t panic..." She grabbed Ricky’s shoulders and shook him. "STOP PANICKING, RICKY!!!"

"Calm down, Constance, what have you been smoking?" Ricky told her.

They both listened, but there was only silence. Silence, and the sound of a car’s engine getting way too close...!!

The next sound was of a car crashing into the side of the van. The van was very tough, but the collision sent it rolling down a hill. Constance and Ricky were both tumbling inside.

Constance was screaming her head off. It sounded like she was yelling, "I’M NEVER GOING TO HAVE SEX WITH ANYONE IN MY NEWS VAN EVER AGAIN!!!"

The rolling of the van finally stopped, but they were upside down.

Constance and Ricky both slowly got up to their knees.

"Are you OK?" Ricky asked.

"Yeah," Constance answered. "I just got a bump on my head. Oh, yeah, and I think I broke my ankle. No, wait, It’s not broke."

"I’m OK, too," Ricky said. "We better go and report this to the police or something."

"Wait," Constance said. "All this danger and excitement is really turning me on..."

Nikky was just hanging out in her new bedroom in her new "secret house" when the phone rang. She thought it would be Sabrina or somebody but she was surprised when it was the voice of the Scream-dressed killer.

"Hi there, Nikky..."

"Oh, no, it’s you!" Nikky said sarcastically. "How did you get this number?"

"I have my sources," the killer answered.

"Why do you even bother with calling people up before you kill them?" Nikky asked.

"Cuz it scares them," the killer answered. "And besides, I like to know the people I’m going to brutally murder before I actually do it."

"If you really want to scare me, why don’t you try something else?" Nikky remarked. "Something like, oh say, sending us messages that say stuff like ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’?"

"The other killer is the stupidest and laziest killer in the world. He’s nothing compared to me," the killer responded. "He can’t even run after his victims. He just walks and walks and walks. When I find out who he is, he’s not going to be the killer anymore, he’s going to be the victim..."

Nikky said, "You know what? There’s a deputy in this house, and I’m in a room where there’s a lock and it’s upstairs, too, so you can’t just break through the window and get in, either. That goes for that killer in the fisherman suit and the hook, too."

"CAN YOU STOP MENTIONING THE OTHER KILLER!?!?!?!?" the killer sounded incredibly annoyed. "Besides, there’s a flaw in your door. You see, the lock is in reverse. You have to lock it from the outside, so you can’t get OUT of the room."

"...and how would you know that?" Nikky asked.

"Because I’m right here," the killer said.

Nikky heard the closet door open behind her. She turned and the Scream killer came out of it. Nikky sprinted for the door. She just barely got the door closed in time when she got out of her room. It turned out the killer was right. Nikky locked the door and the killer was stuck in her room.

She turned and tried to run down the stairs, but the I Know What You Did Last Summer killer was slowly walking up them. Nikky was surrounded. She couldn’t go back in the room and she couldn’t go down the stairs. Fortunately, she was on a small little balcony hanging above the living area. She stood up on the railing, and held her breath as she jumped down.

She hit the sofa, making for a soft landing. She looked up and the killer with the hook turned around and walked down the stairs after her.

Nikky screamed when she saw the deputy also on the sofa. He had dozens of stab and slice wounds all over his body, and blood spilled on the floor.

Nikky ran passed the dead body and for the front door. She had to get to the other house with Sabrina and the sheriff. As she got to the door, she heard a glass shattering from upstairs. She tried not to think that the Scream killer had broken through the window in her room and jumped out.

When she opened the front door, her fears were confirmed. The Scream killer HAD broken through the window and jumped out, and he sliced her neck before she could do anything. Blood stained her shirt. The killer kept stabbing her relentlessly, and she could do nothing but just take it.

In a few seconds she was dead.

Sabrina felt weird. She had a funny feeling about Nikky. There was no way the killers could have gotten anywhere near the "secret location", but she still felt like something horrible was or is going to happen. She walked over to the sheriff, who was still watching TV. She heard moaning and screaming from the TV.

"Are you still watching The Red Shoe Diaries?" Sabrina asked.

"Of course not!" the sheriff answered. "I’m watching When Bees Attack."

Sure enough, when Sabrina looked at the TV, it showed some people moaning and screaming because they’re getting stung by a bunch of bees.

"Sheriff," Sabrina started. "Do you think it would be OK if I went over to the house next door to see Nikky?"

"Go ahead," the sheriff answered. He handed her a key. "Here, use this key to get in just in case I’m in the bathroom or something when you come back."

Sabrina took the key and put it in her back pocket. She walked out the door and closed it behind her.

She started walking toward the house. It looked kinda creepy during the night. And the fact that there were two masked killers hell-bent on trying to kill just made it a lot creepier.

Sabrina got to the door and knocked on it. There was no answer, but the door was unlocked, so she opened it.

When she stepped in, it made a small splashing sound. Sabrina looked down to see that she had just stepped into a puddle of blood.

Sabrina was petrified. Either this was one hell of a sick joke or one (or both) of the killers had found her.

She turned around to run back to the house, but OUT OF NOWHERE, the killer with the hook came and tried to slash her with his hook. He was unsuccessful, and the hook caught onto her back pocket. Sabrina launched forward, and she broke free of the hook’s grasp, although it did rip her pocket open.

Sabrina ran into the basement, with the I Know What You Did Last Summer killer hot on her heels. Actually, not really, since he was just walking after her, but still, you know what I mean.

The Scream killer walked toward the front door when they were gone, on the floor, floating on the puddle of blood, was the key that had fallen out of Sabrina’s pocket when it was ripped. The killer took it, and he disappeared.

Sabrina ran into the basement. There was no lock on the basement door and there was nothing to barricade it with, so she just kept running. She reached the back door. Sabrina opened it and ran up the stairs until she was on ground level.

The grass was moist, so it stained her pants as she tripped and fell on her knees. She quickly got up and kept running. The killer was far behind.

She finally reached the front door to her "secret location" house and tried to open it, but it was locked. She tried reaching into her back pocket to get the key, but the pocket was ripped open and the key wasn’t there. She looked back at the other house. The killer was still far behind her, but if she didn’t get in the house soon, he’d get her.

She started pounding on the door. There was no answer.

"SHERIFF!!!" Sabrina yelled. "LET ME IN!!! HE’S GOING TO KILL ME!!!!"

The killer with the hook still slowly walked toward her.

The sheriff was snoozing on the couch while on the TV people were getting stung by bees.

He could barely hear Sabrina pounding on the door.

Sabrina was so desperate to get in. She kept knocking on the door, but she had to figure out something. On the porch, there was a flower pot. She took it and threw it against the door, making a loud crashing sound.

The sheriff was awaken by the sound of the flower pot crashing and slowly realized that Sabrina really wanted to get in.

Sabrina was screaming her head off. She stared at the killer, who was coming directly at her. He was almost within range to slice her with his hook when the door opened and the sheriff pulled her inside. The sheriff closed the door and locked it.

"THE KILLERS ARE HERE THEY KILLED OH MY GOD THE KILLERS THEY’RE HERE THEY KILLED HOLY SHIT NIKKY BLOOD EVERYWHERE AND ALMOST KILLED ME AND..."

"Get a hold of yourself, Sabrina!" the sheriff yelled. "Now, tell me slowly what happened."

"The killers are here," Sabrina explained. "The one in the I Know What You Did Last Summer costume almost killed me. Nikky and you deputy are both dead."

"OK, stay here and I’ll go call for backup." The sheriff walked toward and picked up the phone.

Sabrina noticed a small sparkle thingie in the corner of her eye. On the floor, she noticed there was the key that used to be in her pocket, and there were even some blood stains on it. How did it get here? Slowly she realized the truth. She yelled for the sheriff, but it was too late. Just as the sheriff picked up the phone, the Scream killer popped up behind him, grabbed him, and stabbed him relentlessly. The sheriff’s cold, dead body fell from the killer’s hands. The killer wiped the blood of his knife as he turned to Sabrina.

She sprinted for the kitchen, and she just barely got in, closed the door, and locked it before the killer got to her. The killer was banging on the door, desperate to get in. Sabrina blew a sigh of relief, but in her head she knew she couldn’t stay in the kitchen forever.

SUDDENLY, a chair flew through the kitchen window above the seat. Sabrina turned to see the I Know What You Did Last Summer climb through the window.

Sabrina had to act fast. She opened the door really fast, knocking the Scream killer away. She ran up the stairs, with the Scream killer hot on her heels. She got into one of the bedrooms and locked the door. The killer started pounding on the door. Sooner or later, Sabrina knew, one of the killers was going to find some way to get through the door. She had to act fast.

She took a chair and threw it through the window. She climbed through the window and was able to grab onto the branches of a tree outside. She climbed her way down. She hoped none of the killers knew she was outside. Sabrina went into the driveway and saw the sheriff’s police car.

"Come on, please be unlocked!" she said to the car as she opened the door. "Yes!" she said to herself as she saw the keys were still in the car. She got in the seat and started the car. Then she started driving away as fast as she could. Sabrina laughed as she knew she was safe.

Fawn was so freaking lost. She was with her friends in Aspen, but she missed the flight home, so she had to wait a couple hours for the next flight. When she got back, no one was even waiting at the airport to see her. She couldn’t even find a taxi!! She tried calling home, but no one answered!!! Desperate, she tried walking home.

She just walked on the street, just trying to follow it, and hoping that it would lead to some familiar territory. It was even worse that it was at night and only the moon eluminated her path. She could tell that she was on a steep hill, but it was too dark to see beyond that.

Fawn was getting drowsy... her eyes felt heavy...

"How did I ever get myself stuck in this mess?" she asked herself. She must have been walking for hours. She didn’t think she was near the airport anymore, but she didn’t know for sure...

Sabrina was so freaking lost. She couldn’t remember the way to her secret house and back. What was even worse was that it was night time and only the moon and her lights eluminated the way.

"Oh, well," Sabrina said to herself. "At least I’m safe from the killers."

She was getting drowsy... her eyes felt heavy...

She barely noticed that someone was walking on the street. She was so tired she didn’t even care. She just crashed into the person. The person’s head was bonked against the windshield, then the person just flew away. Sabrina was shocked. Did she hit Fawn?? No, wait, it couldn’t have been Fawn, Sabrina thought. She’s still in Aspen. And besides, if anybody asks me about it, I’ll just say the killers did it.

Sabrina just kept driving.

Fawn’s lifeless body was rolling down a hill. It was a very big hill, and Fawn’s corpse was headed straight for an upside-down news van...

Back inside the Constance’s up-side down news van, she and Ricky were both naked and were casually smoking.

Constance asked, "Was it as good for you as it was for me?"

Ricky answered, "I’ve had better..."

"WHAT???!?!?!?!" Constance yelled. "What are you saying, that I’m bad at-"

Before Constance could finish her sentence, Fawn’s body smashed into the news van’s windshield.

Ricky and Constance both screamed, "AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! THERE’S A DEAD BODY ON OUR VAN!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!! You know, all this commotion is getting me hot..."

About half an hour later, Sabrina was still driving in the police car, but now she had some idea where she was. She was near the schools. She breathed a sigh of relief, but the car ran out of gas.

"Dammit! Stupid piece of shit!!" Sabrina yelled. She got out of the car. Maybe she could find someone who could give her a ride. She was way too scared to walk home. There was a bunch of music playing in the high school, so she walked that way.

She walked inside the school, the music was playing in the gym, so she walked in. The music stopped. The place was made up to look like the scene of some big dance, but no one was there.

"Hello?" Sabrina yelled. "Anybody here?"

"Hi there, Sabrina," a voice behind her said.

Sabrina turned around her to find Scott’s clone. Even though he was only a clone, Sabrina still didn’t trust him after the ORIGINAL Scott went berserk and killed a bunch of people a year ago.

"Um, hey, Scott..." Sabrina said.

"What are you doing here?" Scott asked.

"I was just about to ask you the same question," Sabrina replied.

Sabrina was looking around the place. If she started running now, could she make it in time? Could Scott catch her?

"You don’t still think I’m one of the killers do you?" Scott asked.

Sabrina answered, "Uh, no, of course not, I mean, well... of course it’s not you!"

"Shut up," Scott started. "Yeah, you do. You think I’m just like the original Scott, don’t you? You think I’m going to try to kill you. Even after the other clone saved your life, you’re still not convinced. You stupid blonde bitch, you don’t trust anybody anymore, do you?"

Sabrina yelled, "Hey, don’t call me a bitch, you stupid reject clone person!"

Scott replied, "The truth hurts, Sabrina."

"I’M NOT A BITCH!!! WHY DOES EVERYONE KEEP CALLING ME THAT?!?!?!"

"I wish you were killed by the killers," Scott said. "I wish that the other clone didn’t try to save you, then this whole thing wouldn’t happen and we’d all be happy and stuff."

"WHAT ARE YOU SAYING?!?!?!" Sabrina exclaimed. "You think I’m responsible for the murders?!"

"Not directly," Scott answered. "But if Josh and Danielle would’ve killed you, then these new killers wouldn’t have shown up-"

A gunshot was heard, and Scott was hit. He was dead.

Sabrina turned around to see who had shot him. It was Trent’s clones. All five of them.

"Why’d you shoot him?" Sabrina asked.

The clone with the gun answered, "He was the killer, wasn’t he?"

"NO! I don’t know... Oh, well, if anybody asks, we’ll just say the killers did it," Sabrina said.

SUDDENLY, this HUGE disco ball fell from the ceiling and crushed all five of Trenton’s clones.

Now Sabrina had NO idea what to do. She turned to see who had cut the disco ball from the ceiling, but she saw no one. She decided to just run for the door, but ALL OF A SUDDEN, the Scream killer popped up out of nowhere in front of her. He pushed her away from the door.

The killer held a voice box to his face. "You’re not going to escape this time, Sabrina!"

"W-who are you?" Sabrina asked.

Sabrina’s body flooded with anxiousness as the killer reached for his mask. Who could it possibly be this time ? She thought. She reviewed in her head: Billy, Dani, Fawn, Josh, Nikky, Ryan, Scott, all five Trents, and Anna were all dead. Gary and Tracy were alive, but they were unconscious during most of the murders so it couldn’t be them. The people she couldn’t rule out were Ricky, Constance, Nik, and Danielle.

The mask finally came off, revealing....

The killer was Neve Campbell. "What do you think?" she asked. "You never guessed it was me, did you?"

Sabrina was so shocked that she almost collapsed. "I can’t believe it!" she yelled. "It was YOU?!"

Sabrina noticed an envelope with her name on it on the floor. She picked it up, opened it, and looked at the note it contained. It said, "Look behind you."

She turned to see the I Know What You Did Last Summer killer in the fisherman outfit and the hook. He, too, removed his costume to reveal....

It was Jennifer Love Hewitt.

"Oh, my God," Sabrina said to herself. "Celebrities are the killers. I have to be dreaming... yeah, that’s right! This is all a dream..."

"It’s no dream," Neve said. "You know, Jennifer, before I knew who you were, I just considered you an enemy. Now that I know you’re the other killer, I propose we team up."

Jennifer replied, "No problem here."

Sabrina asked in dispair, "Why? Why did you do this?!"

Jennifer answered, "Well, after all these murders surrounding you and your little friends, this big movie company is making a movie off of it. And that movie is generating a lot of hype. A little TOO much hype. No one is paying attention to my movie anymore. I’ve come to get my revenge."

Neve continued, "That’s pretty much my motive in a nutshell, too." Neve took the gun from one of Trent’s clone’s cold, dead fingers. Then she stopped, like she heard something. "Who’s there?" she asked. But before the person in the shadows could answer, she shot him dead.

Sabrina finally got a good look at the dead guy. It was someone she knew named Skipper.

Jennifer turned to Sabrina. "You think you’re so cool, cashing in on all this murder mayhem. You really DO deserve to die."

Sabrina just ran out of the gym. Neve fired, but she missed. "You wait for me in the car," Neve told Jennifer. "I’ll take care of that bitch Sabrina."

Sabrina was running through a dark, endless maze of hallways in the school once again. She kept looking behind her. She didn’t have any idea where to go. She screamed as she bumped into someone.

"Sabrina! It’s just me, Nik!"

Sabrina breathed a sigh of relief. Then, out of the top of her head, she said, "You know what? A year ago a girl named Nichole got killed. And Danielle and Josh killed someone named Nikki. And now you’re here. And you all have the same last name, Von Eye!! Except for Nikky, not the one that got killed by Danielle and Josh, but the Nikky that was with me in the secret location. Her last name was Herzog."

Nik said, "That’s weird. I’m not related to any of those Nicholes and Nikkis, it’s just a coincidence."

"And you know another thing?" Sabrina asked. "A year ago someone named Andrew was killed, and in Aspen someone named Andy was killed. They both had the last name Russell!"

A gunshot was heard, and Sabrina was hit.

"Sabrina, NO!!!!" Nik yelled. "Oh, Sabrina, I’m sorry I said you deserved to die and I’m sorry I called you a bitch!"

Sabrina was mortally wounded, she tried to say something.

"What?" Nik asked. "What is it?"

Sabrina whispered, "R-Rosebud...." She was dead.

"Rosebud?" Nik said. "What the hell is rosebud?"

Nik looked around and saw a poster that had the word ‘Rosebud’ on it, and right below the poster was Neve Campbell, about to shoot Nik.

Luckily Nik just happened to have been holding a gun, so she shot Neve before Neve could shoot her. Neve was dead.

Outside, Jennifer was just about to open the door to her car, but SUDDENLY, Danielle, who is kind of like a zombie or something now, grabbed her and started choking her. Jennifer tried to break free, but it wasn’t too long until she was dead.

Danielle disappeared into the shadows....

Nik was about to walk outside when someone said her name behind her. She turned to see Ricky and Constance, whose clothes were strangely loose. Nik told them what happened.

"Thank God it’s all over now," Constance said. She turned to Ricky, "Hey, do you want to, um, meet each other again tomorrow?"

Ricky answered, "Yeah, I have to. I’m wearing your underwear."

Gary and Tracy popped out of nowhere. Nik told them everything that happened.

ALL OF A SUDDEN Dwayne pushed opened the doors (Dwayne was in Douglas Murders 1 & 2). "Hey, hey, HEY," he said. "I’m visiting from Charlotte. Did I miss anything?"

Sabrina was in heaven. Her spirit was in the middle of the ballroom in the Titanic, and she walked upstairs to meet a guy who looked just like Leonardo DiCaprio.

I love being dead, Sabrina thought.
