The Douglas Murders

2 by Scott K. and Dwayne D.

Nikki and Andy were in a ski resort in Aspen. They didn’t have that much money, so they had to share a one-bed room. No, they didn’t sleep together, Andy had a futon. It was past nine o’clock and Andy was all alone in the room because Nikki was in the hot tub. Andy was bored, so he was watching TV. He was hungry, so he picked up the phone and ordered something from room service. After he hung up the phone, he went back to watching the Simpsons.

He was bored. He took out a picture he had of Nikki. It’s strange, Nikki looked so familiar... maybe they met in a past life.

In the hot tub room, Nikki was relaxing by herself. It was so cold outside, the water felt SO good. She closed her eyes and said, "Hmmmm." She was fantasizing about Tarzan in the jungle. They were both in the lake. Tarzan removed his tiger pants, showing his tiger speedos. She felt the water. It was hot. And hotter. And hotter...

"WHOA!" she yelled as she jumped out of the tub. "The pipes must be broken or something," she said to herself.

She heard something. At first she thought it was just the hiss of the pipes or something, but she knew it was something else. It sounded like whispering, coming from...

She felt someone grab her neck. The person pushed her head into the water before she could even scream. Her cheeks were scolding, and she couldn’t breathe. She managed to force her head back up and took a deep breath, but she got pushed in again. She couldn’t see. She felt a knife stab into her back. Everything went blank.

Andy jumped as the phone rang. For some reason, he was a little nervous this night. He picked up the phone.

"Hello?" Andy asked.

"Hellllo, Andy," said the guy on the other end.

Andy was about to freak out. He saw Scream 2 in the theater with Scott once, and it was the scariest thing he ever saw. And now this guy who sounds just like the killer calls him up.

"Uhhh.. Nikki?" Andy asked.

"No, Andy, I’m not your girlfriend. Why are you even here, Andy, you know you’ll never get the girl."

"Who gives a crap?" Andy said. "And who are you and how do you know about Nikki?"

"Do you want to die tonight, Andy?"

Andy hung up on him.

SUDDENLY, someone knocked the door.

"Who is it?" Andy asked, afraid to open the door.

No answer.

"Who’s there?"

ALL OF A SUDDEN the door opened, and Andy jumped on the bed, covered his head, and yelled, "DON’T KILL ME!!!!!"

He heard someone say, "Chill out, man! It’s just room service."

Andy wasn’t so embarrassed in his whole entire life. "Oh, sorry," he said. He took the food he ordered and the room service guy just stood there.

"What are you waiting for?" Andy asked.

The room service guy walked out, murmuring something about a tip.

Andy closed the door. Where was Nikki?

The phone rang again. Andy hesitated. What if it was the guy again.

He decided to just answer the phone. He walked over there and picked up the phone.

"Hello?" he said.

The door opened behind him, and Andy turned to see the killer, dressed in a Scream costume, charging toward him. Before he could do anything, the knife stabbed into his throat. The killer picked Andy up and took him to the Hot Tub room and stuck him in the tub with Nikki, who he couldn’t really see because the tub was full of blood.

Andy died.

Sabrina was in Study Hall at school when she heard the news. Alicia told her. Sabrina cried for the first time since...

She just couldn’t believe that one of her friends and some other dude got murdered. In Aspen, too!

Dwayne, who had surgery on his left knee, was on crutches. He almost fell when he heard what happened to Andy.

Everyone was telling her it was OK.

"How is it OK?" she asked.

"No," Billy replied. "I mean it’s GONNA be OK. You’ll feel a lot better tomorrow."

"Yeah, if I live to see tomorrow," she said as she walked into the hall.

As she opened her locker, she half expected to see Nikki’s bloody corpse fall out, but there was nothing in it. She took a deep breath as she walked out of the school and dozens of reporters swarmed around her.

"Did you know the victims?"

"Are you OK?"

"Were you dating Nikki?"

"FUCK YOU ALL!!" she yelled to them. This scared them off, and they interviewed other people."

As Sabrina walked across the street to get to her bus, she saw a familiar face. It was Constance Spano, the news reporter she punched a year ago. She THOUGHT she was just going to have a normal conversation, but she got out a microphone and it turned out to be an interview.

"Sabrina, are you alright?" she asked.

"What are you doing, Constance?" Sabrina asked.

From behind Constance, Trenton walked into view.

Sabrina was mortified.

"Do you think the clone of the late Trenton Murner could possibly be killing?" Constance asked.

"You bitch," she said.

"Do you accuse Trenton’s clone of murdering you fellow classmates?"

Sabrina punched her and knocked her to the ground. She was about to beat the living crap out of her, when Tracy and Dani held her back.

Sabrina walked away with Tracy and Dani telling her all kinds of stuff like, "It’s gonna be OK."

Trenton helped Constance up. "What was that about?" Trent asked.

"Don’t even want to know!" she replied. "Don’t talk to me, Trenton. This is the second time I got hit by Sabrina, that bitch."

"What, you mean she didn’t know about the interview? I thought you got a contract or something."

"Look, you let me worry about that. You’re just here to look good and give me ratings that’ll skyrocket, Trent!"

Trenton interrupted, "Don’t call me Trent, alright? I’m Trevor, OK? Can you say that? Trev-or. And if you can’t give me a good interview, then I’ll get Diane Sawyer or somebody. Doesn’t she work for another network?"

"OK! OK! I’ll give you a good interview, I promise, Trent."

"Trevor!"

"Whatever!"

"It’s gonna be OK," Tracy said for like the 5000th time as she and Dani escorted Sabrina to her bus.

"You two be careful, OK?" Sabrina told them.

"Do you really think that somebody’s stalking us?" Dani asked.

"I KNOW someone is." Sabrina snapped. "Just promise you’ll watch your back."

Dani and Tracy replied in unison, "We promise."

Sabrina got on her bus and Dani and Tracy went to theirs.

Alicia was in Study Hall typing on a paper. She stayed there even when it was time to go. She didn’t care. She had to get this done!

Suddenly the screen scrambled up and went blank. What the heck? she thought. Then the screen lit up and a message in the middle of the screen said, You’re next, Alicia. You’d better run!

Alicia had NO idea what to do. This couldn’t be just some random piece of information that popped out of no where.

The phone rang.

She answered it.

"Hey there, blondie!" someone said in the Scream voice.

"What do you want?" Alicia asked.

"I want you."

"Then why don’t you show yourself you fucking coward."

"My pleasure," the killer said, who was right behind her.

Alicia ran as fast as she could out of the room. The killer was hot on her heels. She went into a room and locked the door. She saw the killer peer in through the small window near the door, and he broke through it and tried to reach the lock.

Alicia ran to the corner and climbed into the vent. She crawled as fast as she could through the dark, metallic tunnel. It was like a maze almost. She looked behind her. No one was there. She breathed a sigh of relief, but she soon realized that she couldn’t find a way out. She searched everywhere.

As she turned around, the killer slashed her shoulder. Alicia screamed and kicked him in the face. She crawled around the place faster than she thought she could ever crawl before. She lost him. She looked for an exit again, but the panel she was on fell out, and she grabbed on to the edge as she hung in suspension.

She looked down. She was in the gym. She was near the ceiling. If she let herself fall, she could break her bones or something. She tried pulling herself up, but the killer popped his head through and stabbed her hand.

She screamed as she plunged head first into the tiles of the floor.

Watching the broken body, the killer wiped the blood of his knife and quickly fled the scene.

It was like a circus at school the next day as Sabrina arrived with Billy, Dwayne, Stefanie, and Josh.

"What’s going on?" she asked a camera guy.

"Didn’t you hear?" the guy said. "Alicia Volk got murdered yesterday."

"No!" Sabrina said. She barely had the strength to hold herself up. She couldn’t believe that it was happening all over again.

"Oh boy," Dwayne sighed. "This ain’t good."

Later, Sabrina, Josh, Dwayne, Tracy, Billy, Dani, Danielle, Stefanie, and Cassie were in the office.

"This isn’t fair," Sabrina said. "I should be the one dead, not Alicia."

"Oh, don’t say things like that," Stefanie said as she consoled her.

"I should call her mom..."

"The police already did," Tracy replied.

"There’s nothing you can do," Billy added.

"Yes there is," Sabrina said. "We can stop the killer."

"Where can we start?" Danielle asked. "We don’t even know who the killer is."

"As far as we know, the killer could be anyone in this room." Josh said.

This made everyone nervous. The killer could be anyone in the room.

"I have to go," Sabrina said.

"Let us go," Dani started.

"No, I’ll go alone."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah."

Sabrina walked out of the office. Out of nowhere, Trenton appeared in front of her.

"Get away from me," Sabrina said, pushing him away.

"No, wait, just give me five minutes."

"OK, fine."

"Look, I know you think I’m the killer, but I’m not! I’ve never even killed anyone back in my first life."

"What are you talking about?"

"I’m not the bad Trenton, I’m the good Trent. You know, the twin brother Trevor? The Trent you KNEW?"

"You still had to be sent to the insane asylum."

"But I’m better now!! Besides, I wanted to ask you to do another interview."

"No, I’m not going near Constance."

"Not with Constance, with Barbara Walters!"

Sabrina was silent.

"Just promise me you’ll think about it."

"OK." she said as she went out of the building.

She saw Dwayne going into his car. He was carrying a suitcase.

"Where are you going Dwayne?" she asked him.

"Me and my entire family are moving to Charlotte. It’s a lot safer there."

"What? No, stay, you’re the only one who knows what it’s like to be stalked by a psycho maniac knife wielder!"

"Sabrina, if I stay, I might get killed. Brothers don’t last long in situations like this!"

"Dwayne, please...."

"Besides, it’s not my decision. My parents want all of us to go to Charlotte."

Dwayne started to get some stuff in his car.

"No! Dwayne, don’t leave me!" Sabrina begged.

"Goodbye, Sabrina," Dwayne said as he got in his ‘98 Ford Escort.

Sabrina watched as Dwayne drove away.

"WAIT A MINUTE!" Sabrina realized, "How’re you supposed to drive with crutches!?!?"

Dwayne was gone.

She turned around to see Trenton. "Whatever happened to the bouncy Sabrina I remember?"

Sabrina ignored him and walked to the buses.

After school, Stefanie and Dani decided to get some clues to solve this perplexing mystery. They stopped by the news station place where Constance worked. They went into her office.

"Hi," Dani said. "Uh... what are you working on?"

"A story," Constance replied. "I’m thinking of calling it, ‘Sabrina the Teenage bitch’."

"OK..." Stefanie started. "So, do you have any, like, clues that we could use?"

"Well," Constacne said. "You can look through the headlines on the newspaper."

Dani and Stefanie looked through it. There were several stories related to the killings. But one was unusual. It was about Dimension films making a movie off of the incident a year ago. But that’s not the weird part. It says that $20 million was mysteriously missing from its budget.

There was also another thing about Scott K. being cloned.

"Scott’s cloned too?" Dani said. "Why are they cloning serial killers anyway?"

"I don’t know," Stefanie said. "But it says the lab’s address over here. We can go over there and ask them ourselves."

"Good idea," Dani complimented. "But not now. I have to be home by like 5 or something.

Dani and Stefanie left the news station building.

Danielle and Cassie were lost. Cassie had asked Danielle to give her a ride home, and somehow they must’ve taken a wrong turn by accident.

"Where are we?" Cassie asked to no one in particular.

"I don’t know," Danielle replied.

They drove around for about five more minutes.

"Danielle!" Cassie yelled. "I have to go to the bathroom."

"Can’t it wait?"

"NO! I have to go NOW!!"

"There’s no buildings around here."

"I don’t care! I’ll go whiz in the bushes."

"OK..." Danielle said as she pulled the car over. Cassie got out and had to walk a relatively long way to find a bush suitable enough to pee in. She found one and did her business.

She noticed a squirrel standing in front of her.

"Stop staring at me you squirrel pervert!" she yelled at it. The squirrel got scared and ran away. She was about to walk away when she heard something. Something weird. It sounded kind of like whispering. Was someone else here? She was about to check it out but she decided not to and started running.

She tripped on something.

She started rolling down a hill and fell in a small puddle. She was SO lost.

"DANIELLE!" she screamed as loud as she could.

There was no answer.

She got up and looked around. Nothing here looked familiar. If she went one way, she could be going the opposite direction of where Danielle was.

After carefully deciding, she chose to go one way. She hoped that this was the right direction.

The whispering started again.

Cassie hesitated. "Is anyone there?" she asked.

No answer. The whispering stopped.

She started walking again, BUT THEN the killer, dressed in that Scream costume, popped up in front of her.

Cassie screamed and started running as fast as she could. There were trees everywhere. She ran around them, hoping that the trees would slow the killer down. She saw a cave in the corner of her eye. She looked behind her. She couldn’t see the killer. She went toward the cave. It was hidden by a waterfall. Not a huge waterfall, but enough to cover the cave entrance pretty good.

She went in. There were other entrances, and all of them had waterfalls in front. She tried looking through the water, but she couldn’t. She just crept into a corner and kneeled down.

She waited for a few minutes. She walked toward an exit, hoping against hope that the killer wasn’t hiding behind the waterfall. She slowly started walking through the water. SUDDENLY, she felt an extremely sharp pain in her back. She screamed and fell out of the cave. She couldn’t see anything because water was in her eyes. She felt a knife stab in her side. And her throat. And her shoulder. And finally, her head.

Cassie died without seeing her killer.

Danielle was SO tired. Cassie had been going to the bathroom for about 20 minutes now. How long could it take to go?

Then she looked out the window. In the distance, she saw someone dressed in a Scream costume walking toward the car carrying Cassie’s bloody corpse.

What the heck? Danielle thought. She had to think fast. She tried turning the key, but it didn’t start. She hid behind the front seat. After about 5 minutes, she heard the door opening and she also heard Cassie’s body being thrown in the passenger seat. She heard someone get in and close the door.

The killer started the car without any problems.

Oh yeah, NOW you start, you stupid piece of junk, Danielle thought. The killer started driving.

Danielle checked her watch. It was already really late. The sun was starting to set. She took a peak out the side of the seat. She saw through the windshield. She saw Stefanie crossing the street...

Stefanie was just on her way home from the news station when she suddenly realize she was lost. She looked around and was crossing the street. It appeared that there were no cars, but one came in so fast she didn’t have time to do anything. The front of the car collided with her stomach and she was flung onto the windshield.

Danielle was going to be sick. Stefanie was stuck to the windshield of the car like a bug. It seemed like the killer had a hard time seeing, because he was turning the steering wheel a lot.

SUDDENLY, she felt the G-forces as the car crashed into something.

Her head HURT. She got up and looked at the killer who WAS driving. The air bag knocked him out. Danielle got out of the car and started walking away.

Sabrina was with Tracy in Dani’s house. Sabrina didn’t want them to be alone. They were discussing how they would find the killer.

"I have no idea who it is," Tracy said. "I can’t even believe that anyone would even think of killing their friends or something."

"Just try to think," Sabrina told them. "Who would have some kind of motive for murder?"

"There’s Constance, that news reporter," Dani said. "She really hates you after you punched her again. Oh, and that reminds me. Earlier Stefanie and I went over to the news station to get some clues."

Sabrina asked, "And did you find any?"

"Not really, but we did find out that this one movie company that’s going to make a movie of what happened to you a long time ago..."

"It’s been less than a year."

"Yeah, but, anyway, we found out that they were missing $20 million. I’m not sure what that has to do exactly with the killer, but I thought you’d like to know. OH YEAH! We also found out that Scott was cloned, too."

Sabrina’s eyes grew large. "You mean Scott the psycho? Scott the guy who tried to kill me?"

Dani nodded. "The address of the lab is written down right here."

Sabrina took it and got up.

"Where’re you going?" Tracy asked. "No... you’re not..."

"Both of you stay here," Sabrina ordered Dani and Tracy.

"Sabrina, don’t go there. You don’t even know if he’s the killer!" Dani said.

Sabrina ignored them and walked out of the house.

After she left, the phone rang.

"Don’t answer it," Tracy said.

"I have to," Dani said as she picked up the phone. "Hello?" she said to whoever it was on the phone.

"Hey," said Billy on the other line.

"Billy! Why are you calling?"

"Josh just got in my house and he said he was attacked by the killer."

"Is he OK?"

"Yeah, he’s fine. We just wanted to call Sabrina to tell her. Where is she?"

"She left. I think she’s going to try to kill Scott."

"Who?"

"Never mind."

"Look I gotta go. Be careful. Bye."

"Bye."

The lab was closed and almost deserted. Sabrina picked the lock to the front door. The guard was sleeping. She took his card key. Then she walked down a hallway and used the card to open the door that lead to another hallway. She then made it into the room where Scott’s clone was held.

About half the room was behind a glass wall where Scott was sitting in the corner, half-asleep. There was a door near the end where you could get into the space behind the glass. Sabrina used the card to unlock the door and walk in. When she closed the door, Scott seemed to wake up. Sabrina was carrying a knife.

"Sabrina," Scott said. Sabrina froze in her tracks. She was terrified.

"Sabrina," he said again. "Put down the knife. You don’t know what you’re doing."

Sabrina was about to move forward.

Outside the glass, it was incredibly dark. Almost pitch black except around a small lantern that glowed a few feet around it. Suddenly, the killer turned around. At first, he wasn’t facing them, so his black costume hid him from their sight. But when he turned Both Scott and Sabrina saw his white mask and the shine of his knife.

Sabrina dropped the knife. She was scared out of her mind. She felt a little comfort because the door was still locked, but she knew the killer would find some way in.

The killer picked up a stool and threw it into the glass, making a big crack over part of the glass.

Sabrina had to get out. She went back to the door and unlocked it. She was about to open it, but the knob fell out. She couldn’t open the door.

The killer hit the glass again with the stool, and the crack, which looked like a spider web, grew. He hit it once again, and the glass busted. There was a hole. He walked through it.

Suddenly, Scott picked up the stool and hit it on the killer’s head, knocking him out. Scott went through the hole in the glass.

Sabrina didn’t know what to do. The killer’s body blocked the way to the hole. She slowly walked her way over to him. The killer could wake up at any minute. She put one foot over him. Then the other. Then she ran out of the glass as fast as she could. She got out of the room. She ran through hallway. She tried opening the door that lead to the main room thingie where she could get out of the building, but it was locked. She didn’t have her card.

She had left it in the glass section of the laboratory.

This was the only way out. The only way she could get out of the building was by going back and getting the card. In the room with the killer.

She had no choice. She went back. She gasped when she saw the killer wasn’t there. She went through the glass hole and picked up the card and ran as fast as she could back to the door. She felt so relieved when it opened and she went into the main entrance.

The guard was still sleeping. She was about to run out the building, when someone came out of the darkness. She almost screamed, but she realized it was Constance.

"Constance!" Sabrina said. "What are you doing here?"

"I followed you," Constance answered. "What were YOU doing here?"

"I-I... I was going to kill Scott, but I changed my mind and I found the real killer who was coming after me and he’s still here-the killer that is, oh, and I think Scott’s still here, too."

"OK, slow down! Look, we have to find the killer. Take the gun off that guard over there."

Sabrina took the snoring guard’s gun. At the same time, Constance got her pistol out of her purse.

"Do you always have that with you?" Sabrina asked her.

"I had it with me that one time I saved your life," she replied. She didn’t’ really answer her question, but Sabrina ignored it.

Constance also took two walkie-talkies from the guard. "We’ll keep in touch with these."

"OK, so what do we do, split up?"

"Yeah, I’ll take this door and you’ll take that one."

They went their separate ways.

Sabrina held the gun tightly in her hands as she slowly and quietly walked down the dark halls. She walked around, not really going anywhere. She took out her walkie-talkie.

"Constance?" she said. "Did you find anything?"

"Nothing," Constance answered on the other end.

Sabrina jumped when she heard something behind her, but there was nothing there.

"Constance, I think something’s here."

There was no response.

"Constance?" she asked again.

Static came in, and then she heard the killer’s voice say, "This is Constance Spano, signing off!"

"NO!" Sabrina yelled out loud. She heard Constance scream and a gun go off from the walkie-talkie. She ran back through the halls, through the main entrance, and into the door where Constance went into. She ran through another corridor, and she found Constance on the floor, blood dripping from her side. At first she thought she was dead, but she was starting to get up.

"CONSTANCE! Are you OK?!"

"Yeah, it’s not as bad as it looks," Constance replied. "He took my gun. Dammit!"

"It’s OK, Constance. We need to get you to a hospital."

"There’s no time. Just move me into that closet over there and lock the door. They got bandages over there and I’ll be safe from the killer."

"But what will I do?"

"Wake up the guard and call the cops. And remember to get out of here as fast as possible."

Sabrina helped her get into the closet and lock the door.

She ran into the main entrance thingie to wake up the guard, but he wasn’t there. She looked at the TV that showed what the security camera picked up. She saw the guard patrolling the halls, and out of the darkness the killer popped out and slit his throat.

Sabrina was going to be sick. She ran out of the building, screaming her head off. She was running no where in particular. She needed to find a pay phone or something. She found one. She went into the booth and closed the door. She picked up the receiver. At first she was scared when she didn’t have any change, but she realized that calling 911 was free. She was going to dial it when the "9" button popped out.

"Stupid piece of crap," Sabrina said to herself.

She was about to go when she saw the killer standing in front of the glass door of the booth. She had no idea what to do. She was terrified. The killer opened the door. Sabrina kicked him, knocking him to the ground for about a second. It was still enough time to run out of there and get a small head start before the killer came back after her.

She tripped. She hit her head on the street HARD.

Everything went blank.

She woke up in a pitch dark place. She didn’t know where she was. Her eyes slowly became used to the darkness and she saw she was in the gym in school. She had no idea how she got there, but she wanted to get out. She walked over to the door, and was about to open it when the killer popped up behind her and pushed her away. Sabrina ran to the middle of the gym.

"There’s no way to escape now, Sabrina!" the killer said, holding a voice box.

"Who are you?" Sabrina asked the masked figure in front of her.

The killer reached for his mask. Sabrina had wild visions of who the killer could be. She even thought of it being her mom or something but that couldn’t be right.

The mask came off, revealing Sabrina’s mom, er, I mean Danielle (it wasn’t her mom).

"D-Danielle?" Sabrina said. "I can’t believe it! But why?"

"Shut up, Sabrina." Danielle ordered.

Danielle was like one of Sabrina’s bestest friends. Why would she do this?

Sabrina ran past her and darted for the door. But another masked killer intercepted her. This killer was also dressed in the Scream costume. This one also pulled off his mask, and it was Josh.

The two killers surrounded her. She felt dizzy.

"Why are you doing this?"

Danielle answered, "We know that you know about Dimension films, that one company that was making the movie off of what happened to you a long time ago, had $20 million missing from its budget, right? Well, the money wasn’t missing, they gave it to us, to kill all of you people."

Sabrina couldn’t believe they did this just for money.

Josh said, "The movie could make tons of money, but the bad thing is they couldn’t make a sequel to cash in on all the murder movie hype. So that’s our job. A sequel could make another $200 million."

Danielle continued. "And the ending is just perfect. You see, Trenton is the killer. He chases you down with a knife, but you shoot him, but not before he takes one quick stab at you."

Sabrina saw Trenton and Tracy handcuffed to a bar connected to the bleachers.

"Oh my God," Sabrina whispered to herself.

"Give me the gun, Danielle," Josh said.

"I thought you had it," Danielle remarked.

"No I don’t have it. Now give me the fucking gun."

"Oh, yeah, I left it over there next to the bleachers." Danielle walked over to the corner and came back with two guns- one of them was Constance’s and the other was the one Sabrina took from the guard.

Tracy and Trent looked at all of them, but they couldn’t say anything because they had duct tape over their mouths.

Josh took the gun and shot Trent. The bullet drove itself into him. In a few moments, he was dead.

Tracy, who was right next to him, looked horrified.

"Now it’s your turn," Danielle said. She got out the knife and swung it, but OUT OF NOWHERE Dani jumped on her and the knife dropped to the floor. Danielle tried pulling on Dani’s hair while Dani clawed at Danielle’s face.

Meanwhile, Josh pointed the gun at Sabrina. Before Sabrina could even gasp, Josh fired. But it was like something zoomed past her, and the bullet hit that instead. Sabrina looked at what happened. Scott had run in front of her and the bullet hit him.

Josh fired again but there were no bullets. The other gun was missing.

Dani punched Danielle in the face.

Josh knocked Sabrina down. He kicked her in the stomach. He got the knife and swung it down toward her body. All of a sudden, a gunshot was heard. Twice. Josh and Danielle’s body fell to the floor.

Billy had taken the other gun and shot the two killers.

Sabrina was so relieved. Dani freed Tracy.

Sabrina felt free as a bird. She could be bouncy again.

Meanwhile, Constance was still in the closet. She couldn’t open the door. She yelled, but no one came.

She’d be there for a while...

Then the janitor opened the door and got scared and ran away.

She was kind of relieved, but the door closed again.

"D’oh!" she yelled.

She just kept waiting.
