Finally got my copy of Bogey's LAST HALLOWEEN video, and managed to watch it in spurts over the course
One word: IMPRESSIVE! I do agree that the acting was what one would expect from non-professionals, and the picture quality literally screams "HandyCam!", but the film is nonetheless a great viewing experience. The packaging and cover art were also exceptional.

I agree with Chester that the script was well thought out, an interesting take on the HALLOWEEN mythos, and an interesting depature from the norm, but what struck me most vividly was the professionalism of the editing, and sound effects, and the infrequent visual tweaks. The movie is also presented in a "widescreen" format, and the credits are slick and polished.

I'll even go one further and say that Bogey made a darn impressive Shape (I'm assuming that was him under the mask; the credits never say who's who), and some of the muurder sequences far outclass anything found in H4-H20. My personal fave was the death of the detective.

It's a shame only fifty copies were produced. This video belongs in any HALLOWEEN fan's collection.

Now if only the creators of the "real" HALLOWEEN films could have been even half as creative.....
