EyeCon is a Supernatural convention in Orlando, FL and was on the weekend of April 4th 2008.
The guests that weekend were: Jared Padalecki, Jim Beaver, Sandy McCoy, Samantha Ferris, Chad Lindberg, Alona Tal, Gabriel Tigerman and musical guest Steve Carlson.

Besides the usual Q&A's, Photo ops, and Autograph sessions the weekend was filled with parties, panels, a movie screening and a concert. There was a lot of time to talk to the guests and they were all very approchable.

Ten Inch Hero

The weekend started off with a screening of Ten Inch Hero, followed by a Q&A with the producer and director. This was the second time I saw the movie, and I had just as much for as I did seeing it the first time. For my spoiler free review of the movie please go here.

Jared Padalecki plays Sam Winchester

Because of a last minute schedule changes on the set of Supernatural, Jared was not able to come on Saturday and Sunday as planned. But even though he wouldn't even be able to spend 24 hour in Florida, he still came to spend Sunday with us. It was amazing to meet him, he's even better looking than on TV, full of energy, and very sweet.

Jared answering my question.

Jim Beaver plays Bobby Singer

This was Jim's first convention and I had no idea what to expect from him. He's a great guy, warm and very easy to talk too.

Jim answering my question.

Samantha Ferris plays Ellen Harvelle

Samantha looks even better than on TV, it's always refreshing to see an actres on TV who isn't tiny and young. She was great, very nice and seemed to enjoy being there.

Alona Tal plays Jo Harvelle

I didn't get to talk to Alona this weekend, but she was fun to watch during the Q&A.

Chad Lindberg plays Ash

Chad is a fun and relaxed guy, and seemed to enjoy himself during the weekend.

Gabriel Tigerman plays Andy Gallagher

I’m one of the few people it seems who didn’t care much for Gabe's character on Supernatural, but Gabe is such a sweetie and he's funny. He spend a lot of time with us fangirls, even in his free time.

Sandy McCoy plays Crossroads Demon

When I first heard that Jared was engaged to Sandy, I though 'lucky girl', and while that's still true, after meeting Sandy, I now have to say; "lucky guy". Sandy is smart, sweet, funny and absolutely gorgeous.

Sandy talking about how Jared asked her to marry him.

Steve Carlson (musical guest)
Composer of "Night Time" used in the episode Provenance

Steve did a few songs at a party and gave a concert Saturday night on only 2 hours of sleep and still sounded amazing. He’s got an amazing voice and the things he can do with a guitar…
