This is for whoever wants to know what I am doing these
days, (today is October 29, 1999).



I was told I had breast cancer (high nuclear grade) June 
30th, 1999.  I had surgery July 26th, 1999.  As far as the 
doctors know they got all the tummor out.  But the cancer 
is still with me because it is in my bone marrow and in my 
blood stream.



After 6 weeks of chemo my cancer blood count has went up to 
105 from 78, the normal range is (0 - 38), as you can see 
mine is very high.  I will be tested again in 2 to 3 weeks 
and if still no improvement the doctor says we will have to 
try a different treatment. 



UPDATE  February 20, 2000



As of this tuesday I will have a new blood cancer count.  
As of the last one it was down to 46.  I am starting 
Radiation March 2, 2000.  So as of last week I was taken 
off the A-dre-mi-a-son (sounds like).  I still have chemo, 
Taxol, but a lower dose of it while having radiation. 



Update  February 25, 2000 



Was told by doctor today that I am in remission.  Anyway as 
best as I am going to get.  It is not full remmission but 
in my case I won't have full remission.  Still going 
through chemo and radiation March 2, 2000 and it will last 
about 2 months.

Update   May 15, 2000



About that remission, I guess not yet.  I have had two 
bone marrow tests done.  The first one when I first started
treatment and the last one was two weeks ago.  The first one
stated I had 80 % cancer cells in my bone marrow.  The one
from two weeks ago said I only had 5 % cancer in my bone
marrow.  So hopefully it is gone for good soon.



Update October 30, 2000



I am in a kind of remission.  My hair is growing back.  It is about 4 to 5 inches long on top.  Back of hair is not growing as fast as the top.  It is still just below my neck.  My health is alot better now that I don't have chemo amymore.  I have a shot of Zoladex once a month and I take Tamoifem once a day.  I still find myself tired at times, but I just take things one at a time.  



Update January 30, 2000



Everything is still ok.  I found out from doctor that I will be on my current treatment intell it does not work anymore.  He said it could work for a few months or a few years.  I am doing good right now so please no one worry about me.  At least with me no having chemo anymore, I can do a lot more things with my kids now.  Everyone take care, Love to all, Annette



Update February 23, 2002



About 6 months ago, the current treatment had stoped working.  My cancer count started going up letting me know it was not working anymore.  The cancer has spread to my bones.  I was having really bad back pains, but had radition which took care of that.  Now I am on chemo again.  This round of chemo is a lot harder on me then the ones in the past.  Much more tired and sick to my tummy.  So instead of chemo every week, I have it every other week.  So all news for now, Love to all, Annette



Update January 06, 20032



In March of 2002, I had surgury to get out fluid from around from my heart.  A couple months later I had to have the same thing done for around my right lung.  There is still a tube in me so I can drain whenever it is neccessary.  There for a few months we were not sure if my cancer count was ever going to come down.  They are down and that is what counts.
