Mischa has had more than eight  memorable motion picture releases since 1999 following 'Lawn Dogs'  playing the lead role of Devon, and  the blockbusters 'Sixth Sense' & 'Notting Hill, and 'New York Crossing'. Her first TV appearance was in the soap 'All My Children' and during the past year she has made groundbreaking television  on the ABC series 'Once & Again', and the Disney telefilm 'Ring of Endless Light'.  Mischa's background is New York Theater and she has played quality roles in productions at Lincoln Center Theater, The New York Shakespeare Festival, Public Theater, and New York Theatre Workshop during her short career.. On top of that she has been acclaimed in the Press as 'Hollywood's Hottest Young Star', won the 'Least Annoying Actress of the Year 2002' award , and all this with a face that is already well known for gracing Calvin Klein billboards and Glossy Magazines...such as Glamour, Grazia and Vogue....this is no small success for a sweet sixteen yearold !!!

        An amazing feat for any actress of any age and a first for an actress this young at the Festival!

  Following this a Disney Original Movie, 'A Ring of Endless Light', released  in August 2002,
and still currently airing. Mischa stars as
             Vicky Austin alongside the acclaimed actor James Whitmore.
         It's based on one of the series of celebrated novels
         by Madeleine L'Engle.

           On television Mischa plays Katie Singer on the ABC
           Ed Zwick and Marshall Herscovitz production
'Once & Again'
     This groundbreaking storyline of the relationship between two young girls
Jessie, Evan Rachel Wood  and Katie, Mischa Barton  resulted in the
highest ratings for the show in the 2002 season
Currently re-airing on the Lifetime Channel also released on DVD .

Yet to come......'Julie Johnson' starring Lili Taylor,Courtney Love

2003 will also see the release of Mischa's latest project 'Octane' a thriller
