Bridget was once one of the best characters in Springfield, played by an even better actress. After seducing Hart Jessup, Bridget became pregnant and gave birth to little Peter, whom she shared custody of with Vanessa Chamberlain. After a lot of grueling soul-searching, Bridget found then lost love with Dylan Lewis. Then, in a remarkable display of character assassination, Bridget was reduced to a pathetic schemer in an attempt to win a returned Hart Jessup from Dinah Marler. Bridget was liberated from this demeaning story, but was left sitting squarely on the back-burner. Eventually, she left Springfield, working out her relationship with Dylan and moving to Minnesota to live with him and her son Peter.
