Long after Reva's supposed death, Josh moved on with his life by marrying nurse Annie Dutton. He told her he would love her and be with her forever, but when Reva resurfaced, he found himself pulled back to her. Annie's insecurities led her to become addicted to pills, and after her withdrawal, she bacame obsessed with Josh and decided to scheme and manipulate anything and anyone she could to hold on to her prize, Josh Lewis. But Josh finally realized he was in love with Reva, and dumped Annie, who wouldn't let go. Josh finally freed himself of Annie and is now with Reva. Annie however, brought Reva's sister Cassie to town and ordered her to bed Josh. Cassie drugged him, but Reva discovered the whole mess before it went to far. Josh didn't seem to hold a grudge, as he immediately went to bat for Cassie against Alan to get Cassie her daughter back. He enjoyed happiness with Reva until Annie tried to kill her and convinced Josh that she did so. Josh, drunk and grieving, agreed to let Michael Burke clone Reva. Josh now has his hands full with the Reva Clone, who has seduced him once and is itching too again.
