Some films just are increadably quotable. Some film lines have gone down in history. Who doesn't know lines such as "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn", or even "E.T. Phone home."

Withnail deserves the same recognition.People often quote and misquote Withnail without even knowing it, sometimes without even having seen the film. Many a student knows of the Withnail drinking game with its Ronsonoil incident and even more people know of the mystical "Camberwell Carot"

To those that have seen it, its perfectly formed dialogue is infinately more quotable than any other film.
