Who doesn't know it, the greatest love story of all times written by William Shakespeare? Umpteen times it has been screened! In 1960, it was transplanted for the first time to the modern New York - thus the world-famous musical  "West Side Story" was developed and was later brought to the screen, too. The newest adaption also transplants the pair of lovers in the here and now but keeps the original text. Mexico City -between the families Montague and Capulet rages a fierce feud. Amid this atmosphere of hatred and violence meet Romeo Montague ( excellent: Leonardo DiCaprio) and Juliet Capulet (tender and fragilly beautiful: Claire Danes) - and fall in love at first sight in spite of their fatal origin. Of course they try to to keep their love secret and they expose themselves to great danger  to be close to each other. The situation comes to a head and the night of their secret marriage ends deadly for both...
