My name is Ben Burnsed, Jr. I am 22 years old and a resident of Stillwater, OK. I was born in Jacksonville, FL, on December 26, 1974, and have previously lived in Lawton, Fletcher, and Oklahoma City (all in the state of Oklahoma). I graduated from the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics (OSSM, pronounced OH'-sum, not "awesome") in 1993. I attended Oklahoma State University for three semesters majoring in English.

How did I get the nickname "Flea"?

Once when I was in AFROTC at Oklahoma State University, I bleached my hair blonde using some of that stuff you get at a beautician store. Well, you guessed it, it turned my hair a METALLIC YELLOW/GOLD. My flight commander, Timothy Trimmel commented that I looked like Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Other members of the Corp, like Richard Operhall, soon picked up on the nick and it stuck. I later donned the nickname for IRC chat sessions. You can sometimes find me on the Undernet as Flea1.

My interests include:

• Singing and writing songs
• Playing guitar (Fender all the way, baby!)
• Horror novels, esp. by Stephen King, Clive Barker, and F. Paul Wilson
• Movies, movies, movies (esp. horror, of course!)
• Hellraiser and all things Barker-esque (check out my page here.)
• Java. I'm talking COFFEE, people, like, CAPPUCHINO, etc.
• Just plain having fun!

By the way, despite my residence, I am NOT a cowboy!
