Okay just back from the Writers Guild Craft Conference and ready to reallyrock and roll on Episode 27, but here's a few answers...
If all goes well, you'll be seeing the first five of the new episodes inOctober.
The remaining 8 will probably begin airing in January of 1998...
Why 13? - That's what Hasbro was willing to finance for the remainder ofthe year as someone said.
Does 13 mean second season is the end? - Can't say for sure. BW is atoy-driven and toy-dependent show. If there is a continuation of the BWtoy line in 1998, then there probably will be more episodes. If not, plugpulled. I will say that there is a very good chance of more, but that isonly a speculation, not a fact. Whether I personally will do more, well, there is less of a chance of that, assuming my current career campaigngoes well...
Who will write the 13 episodes... Bob and I will likely do 4 each, withthe remaining 5 going to freelancers. Bob will probably use Greg Johnson,I am looking to use Len Wein (yes that Len Wein), Christy Marx (abrilliant action writer and great lady of both comics and tv), and PatBarry (another veteran animation writer)... I'll let you know what happensas it happens on that front...
There will be three multi-parters, within the 13 episodes...
And that's the whole scoop... See ya in oh a week or two...
