Helpful Hints

The following are some helpful facts I've collected for those who've never been to Concordia before but who are going to be students here. Most of the things I have here are small things you'll probably figure out in your first few weeks of classes, but I thought I'd let tell you anyway, just so you're prepared.

-There is no 3rd floor to the Hall building (well, technically there is, but there are no classes there). The escalators will take you from the 2nd floor directly to the 4th floor.

-Concordia has 2 bookstores. One is in the McConnell building at Sir. George Williams campus, the other is in Hingston Hall at the Loyola campus.

-The DA, DL and DS buildings are all the same building. It's one building divided into 3.

-The CC building is attached to the AD building from behind (you can walk through the AD building to reach the CC building).

-The vending machines in the Bryan building don't take anything larger than quarters.

-The escalators in the Hall building rarely work.

-You can get from the Hall building to the McConnell building underground.

-There is a shuttle bus that you can take from one campus to another. During the day, it comes quite often. It usually takes about 15 minutes to get from one campus to the other.

-The 162 is the slowest bus in human history. This one isn't directly related to Concordia, but there is a 162 stop right in front of the AD building, so I figured it was worth mentioning. If you need to get to a metro, than take the 105. It comes a hell of a lot faster.

Well, that's all I can think of for the moment. I'll probably add more tips when I'm bored out of my mind and have nothing better to do.
