She is Queen of Naboo. She is 14 in the movie. Her real name in the movie is Padme Nabarrie Amidala. Whem she grows up she will marry Anakin Skywalker and have Luke and Leia. Leia said in ROTJ that her mother died when she was very young. Anyway Amidala is a good queen but not the Senator of Naboo(Senator Palpatine).
