7-14-00      Hal will be in Showtime's new series Queer as Folk where he will be playing a gay man named Michael. The show is based on the gay-themed British series of the same name. Showtime says it has ordered 22 episodes, including a two-hour pilot, to premiere later this year. Clickhere to view some articles about this contreversial show.

6-8-00      Hal will not be apart of the regular panel of the game show I've Got a Secret  , though he was on five episodes of the show that will be replayed over the summer on the Oxygen Channel.

6-7-00      Never fret Sparks fans! Hal has been cast in the movie Dude, Where's My Car  for 20th century fox. He plays a character named Zoltan, the leader of a cult of nerds.      Also look for Hal on The Full Nelson  on Saturday, June 24! The Full Nelson  is on Fox News Channel following Judith Regan Tonight . Political analyst Rob Nelson hosts a discussion of issues relevant to Gen-Xers, with guest panelists and studio-audience participation. Check local listings for times.       PS: DON'T TRUST THE OXYGEN NETWORK! (not seriously, it's kinda cool) They claimed Hal was going to be on I've got a Secret for a big hunk of June, and well, he's not from what I can tell.

5-22-00      Our noble Hal, our wonderful Hal Sparks, has left Talk Soup! That's right... With out a proper goodbye, Hal no longer hosts Talk Soup. I personally, will continue to follow Hal wherever his jobs will take him!
