Below is a listing of restaurants which can be found inside Disneyland. It will include a description as seen through the eyes of a 3 year old.... or one of us, a rating (5 mickey heads being best... in that restaurant category, IE: main restaurants, fast food) in 3 different categories, and D2K's opinion of the place. NOTE: not all restaurants are listed because this is totally based on memory and opinion and we have no opinion on the places we have never eaten. Also note that the fast food and main restaurants are rated on a different scale for food.

MAIN RESTAURANTS

NAME: Plaza Inn
LOCATION: Right end of Mainstreet
PRICE RANGE: Meal for 1 will cost you about $10-$12. DESCRIPTION: Buffetereia style restaurant with a large variety of food. Here you have your choice of a fried chicken plate, served with potato wedges and slaw; a pasta dinner; and some pastry thing with meat sauce.
OPINION: Plaza Inn is one of the better restaurants in the park. The fried chicken dinner is our recommendation... the potato wedges are yummy!! The sitting area is also very nice, especially if you can grab a seat during the fireworks or the night time parade.

NAME: Blue Bayou
PRICE RANGE: Meal for 1 will cost you about $15 (lunch time) -$30 (dinner time).
LOCATION: Near Pirates exit in New Orleans Square
DESCRIPTION: Sit down style restaurant with waiter/waitress. A band occasionally plays here. A more exquisite menu than anywhere else in the park. A great variety of food from around the globe... chicken, steak, crab cakes, Monte Cristo sandwich, delectable salads, and a great many desserts.
OPINION: If you don't mind dishing out the money, Blue Bayou is the best restaurant in the park. D2K recomends waiting for a water seat from which you can view the Pirates of the Caribbean and enjoy the sound of the dirty old man playing the banjo. Don't forget to order the Monte Cristo sandwich, because it's goooooood!

NAME: Pizza Port
PRICE RANGE: Meal for 1 will cost you from $7-$12.
LOCATION: Tomorrowland, near line for Space Mountain
DESCRIPTION: Buffeteria style restaurant with Italian food. Spaghetti, Tera Nova pasta, Chicken Fusilli, Pizza, Meatball sandwiches, garlic bread, and salads can be found here.
OPINION: A nice place to eat, the Terra Nova pasta is really good! Just make sure you have about 10 breath mints afterwards, to cover that nasty garlic breath! The chicken fusilli is also really tastey. You have your choice of sitting inside, out front near cosmic waves, or out back near the line for Space Mountain... we always sit out back when we can, it's just nice out there!

NAME: River Belle Terrace
PRICE RANGE: Meal for 1 will cost you about $10.
LOCATION: New Orleans Square, between Rivers of America and the Tree House.
DESCRIPTION: Walk up and order your food, wait for them to make it, then find a table, style restaurant. Serves pancakes, MICKEY MOUSE PANCAKES, potatoes, and gravy biscuits with eggs and your choice of sausage or bacon for breakfast. For lunch/dinner, you can choose from assorted sandwiches.
OPINION: This is a very nice place to eat breakfast! Try to get an outside seat because it is so peaceful sitting near the water, with New Orleans square virtually empty early in the morning! There is also talk that the outside seating may not be around much longer =(. Avoid eating lunch and dinner here though, the sandwiches aren't that great, a bit dry! Plus, bees seem to love to come around and land on those sandwiches!!!

NAME: Cafe Orleans
PRICE RANGE: Meal for 1 will cost you about $11-$13.
LOCATION: New Orleans Square
DESCRIPTION: Another walk up and order your food, wait for them to make it, then find a table, style restaurant. Chicken on rice (Poulet de Maison), beef on rice and Roast Beef Po Boy (sandwich), are a few of the things you can get here.
OPINION: The food is ok, nothing more, but the line moves really slow! The Roast Beef Po Boy is our favorite thing here, beef, tomatoe, lettuce, swiss cheese and a pepper sauce. The eating area is very nice, try to eat during Fantasmic! It will make your dinner much more enjoyable!

NAME: Big Thunder BBQ
PRICE RANGE: Meal for 1 will cost you between $11-$15.
LOCATION: back behind Big Thunder Mountain along Big Thunder trail.
DESCRIPTION: Here, you order your food, then go from station to station, getting your plate filled with what you ordered. Very peaceful seating! Choice of ribs with chicken, chicken with no ribs or ribs with no chicken... served with slaw, beans, corn cakes, and corn on the cob.
OPINION: The seating area is nicely themed, with a fire burning at all times in the center. The food is good, but surprisingly isn't filling at all.

FAST FOOD RESTAURANTS

NAME: Bengal BBQ
PRICE RANGE: Meal for 1 will cost you between $7-$10... one skewer probably won't fill you up.
LOCATION: Adjacent to Indiana Jones in Adventureland
DESCRIPTION: Bengal BBQ is a quick pick-up counter, with SKEWERS! Chicken skewer with sweet sauce, Beef skewer with tastey HOT sauce or regular BBQ sauce, bacon wrapped asparagus and leopard tails (breadsticks). Just a couple tables to sit at means you will have to take your food somewhere else.
OPINION: The skewers are all really really good! The Banyon Beef (hot) is the best! I like to get one Banyon Beef Skewer and one Chicken Skewer....*licks lips*. We like to take our skewers over to Cafe Orleans or Plaza Pavillion because there aren't enough tables outside BBBQ and it is way too crowded!

NAME: Hungry Bear
PRICE RANGE: Meal for 1 will cost you about $8-$10.
LOCATION: Critter Country, along water, near Country Bears.
DESCRIPTION: A quick hamburger stop. Burgers, fries, onion rings.... VEGGIE BURGERS! Nice seating along the water.
OPINION: One of the most peacful places in the park! The hamburgers are ok, just hope they dont accidentally get lazy at the end of the night and not want to cook you a real hamburger, and give you one of the Veggie Burgers they have sitting around from earlier, then they all leave so you have no one to complain to. The onion rings here are really greasy, I LOVE EM!!! Every once in a while they will open the far back seating area up and you can see the Disneyland Railroad pass by as you eat.

NAME: Coke Corner
PRICE RANGE: Meal for 1 will cost you about $8.
LOCATION: Left end of mainstreet
DESCRIPTION: Quick pick up counter. Sells some boss hotdogs, with or without chilli and cheese. Can also get a bowl of chilli, or a bag of chips. One of the few locations in the park where you can get cherry coke!!!
OPINION: Coke Corner is a great place to grab a midnight snack, after the park has closed and you want to prolong your Disneyland trip. You have easy access to the Plaza Pavillion seating and can occassionally hear someone playing the piano.

NAME: Mint Julep Bar
