Keanu Reeves was born on september 2nd 1964 in Beirut, Lebanon. His mother is from England and his father is half Chinese and half Hawaiian, it was his father´s idea to name the newborn baby Keanu (which means "cool brize over the mountains").
The family moved from Libany to Australia and from there to New York.
His parents devorced when he was 13 and then he, his mother and his two sisters Kim and Carina moved to Toronto, Canada. Keanu wasn´t so thrilled about going to school so he was kicked out of three schools before he started at a Theatre-school. In 1984 he moved to Los Angeles to be a big star. And we all know that he successed after several years of smaller parts and commercials.

Nowadays he plays in a punkband called Dogstar, he´s a goalie in a halfprofessional hockeyteam, drives his motorbike and often goes out to party, but he also enjoys to sit and discuss the world-problems etc. He was best friends with River Phoenix who died of an overdose in october -94. Keanu was filming "Speed" when he found out about it.
Keanu has also admitted that ha has tested some drugs.

He loves Shakespeare and reads it every day! When keanu was 18 years old he played a Romeo & Juliet-production in a theatre and in 1995 he was Hamlet in a theatre in Winnipeg, Canada.

It has been rumours arround Keanu that says that he´s gay and married to David Greffen but according to Keanu himself ha hasn´t even met David.
At the moment he´s singel but he has often been seen in nightclubs with diffrent women. We´ll see in the future...
