Hi, this is the Personal Web page for me.  Kieran, Kizz, Dj Kizz, Drskt Dsyr, DrPeppa, DjKizza, Kizza, and many many other nicknames in this virtual world called the internet!  I have tried to utilise the internet together with my daily life now, for some time.  Using such things as Microphones, Web cams and my daily journal.  So far, it has all come down to this, my special little location on the internet!  Before I go into more about me, I need to say this...

Now that that is over and done with!  I will move on!  I have had this web page since I was first on the net and along with my online journal; it has become my outlet to the cyber world and a way of keeping in touch with everyone. So I thought it was about time for a change of pace and scenery. I got rid of my Flash introduction a little while ago, because people were complaining that it took too long to load into my site. I have taken off my midi file on the introduction page, because lets face it... they're annoying, and I have tried to jazz up my site, with the contents page you should be able to see on your left. I had tried to update the contents page with some smaller flash content, including songs that I liked at the moment, but that didn't go so well...

You might notice some other changes to the site as well, All I can say is I hope you enjoy them. What else did I want to mention.... oh yeh; I have recently purchased a digital camera! A good one too, so the random things that I do in mylife will be recorded there...

You may have noticed too, that my journal link above, now points to my livejournal site, even though I started my journal before I found livejournal and so I had a few pages on normal HTML. If you wish to find them (I read them all the time for memory sake), then look for their hyper-link in the "Live Pages" section.

Ok, lets get down to business, for newcomers, I will explain who I am, and what that means! My name is Kieran Mawdsley, for many years I have been torn between nicknames, Kizz, Kizza, Kizzoo, DjKizza, DjKizz, Darkest Desire, DrsktDsyr, Big Brother, Temporal Indulgence, etc... etc... Recently I have been using DjKizza, It sort of just stuck.  I guess I've gotten used to it over the years.  Due to the fairly high amount of people asking me, I am going to post this on my web page. The reason that my nickname is Kizza, is because when I was in high school, I used to know someone there called Warwick, and everyone called him Wazza, because its what u do. Then for some unknown reason, one day he just started to call me Kizza, and I actually started to like the name. It had a real nicknamey feel about it, so I kept it! There you go! Ok, the basic course - Kizz 101... I am a 21 year old hairdresser (Fully qualified thank you!) from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Yes, I am gay, No, that doesnt mean that I am a cyber slut and will have cyber sex with you at the drop of a hat, I charge! ;-) I have just recently come out, the reaction has been good so Ive been spoilt. Please, dont ruin it for me if you dont like gay people, then maybe you should just leave. If you think we're fabulous just like me! Then we like you, you can stay. Now, where was I? Oh yeah! I was working in the Arana Hills area of Brisbane; at Streakers hair and Beauty, in this salon we specialised in funky colours and cuts.  I enjoyed my work, I had worked my way up to manager, and was running the shop fairly efficiently.  However, due to the increase in overheads and the such, my boss was forced to go bankrupt, effectively shutting the salon.  I was suddenly out of a job, and without one weeks pay and 5 weeks holiday pay.  So, I have decided to do what I have always wanted, and go to college.  I am going to study a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Advertising and Electronic Business,  which should be fun, I am really looking forward to it.  I will write more when I start.

Ok, my other interests, I am right into Music... I LOVE Dance music, Techno, Trance, House, basically all dance music... I really like most Pop music too.  My favourite artists are Nick Skitz, Will Young, Garbage, Sugababes and the Rogue Traders.  Rooowwwrrr!  :-)  I usually HATE all Boy bands as a rule, however there are a few exceptions, although in this day and age those exceptions are becoming few and far in between.

I love Raves and Clubbing and dancing and singing...however, at the moment I am studying full time. Which means that I cant afford to go out as often as I used to... Cant you just hear the small violins playing?

Now, onto my favourite television shows, the most important shows in my world.  My favourite TV Shows have been ever changing through my life, but one show has remained the staple of my viewing pleasure, that show is:

I remember that Buffy started on that first fateful season while I was at high school, I sort of remembered the movie, mainly because it was so bad!  But then after watching the show for a couple of episodes, I was HOOKED!  It was sooo much more then a cheesy B-Grade movie about vampires, it was an A-Grade TV show about the hell-mouth, the monsters that come out of it, and the girl who was born to stop them.  The characters have progressed a lot from the first time we saw them, with Buffy going from a whiny little girl who had problems with her super powers and just wanted to be normal.  To a independent young woman who is comfortable with being above average in the world.  Willow has gone from a computer nerd who had never been kissed, to the most powerful witch in the southern-hemisphere and a lesbian to boot!  Xander has gone from the average typical teenage boy who is only interested in sex, girls, sex, TV and more sex to a fiercely loyal friend, an independent money-earner and a steady rock of support that his friends can rely on.  Now, as you may have heard, they no longer make Buffy, it has finished its run and Im not sure if they have another spin-off in the works or not, but I have been feeling very sad about it, and there is a void that I cannot fill with my television watching.  I love that show, and for years it was my life! You can especially see that, since I was given the most likely to go on a murderous rampage after Buffy is cancelled award in high school.  But its alright, they've had a good run, told some good stories; and had some great seasons.  Unfortunately I tend to hate Angel as a character, so I dont really like the show as much, but thats fine...

Queer As Folk - American Version and British Version... II Absolutely LOVE these shows.  I first saw the British version when a friend gave me both seasons on DVD for a Birthday present (which she borrowed and never bought back... but anywayz, I digress..)  When the American version first started, I was watching it going, oh my god this is EXACTLY like the UK version, with different actors. But then where one of the main characters in the UK version dies, the US version doesn't and from then on, it got REALLY different, it was like watching Sliding Doors as a Television show, first you see what could happen one way, then you watch the other way. Which I liked, it's like the UK version, except its much BETTER now!  We have just currently finished the second season of Queer As Folk over here, and I am EAGERLY awaiting the next season, it's a great show.  I was sooo excited to hear that it was re-signed for 2 more seasons!  Anywayz, if you wanna know more then check out my Queer As folk page
