MICHELLE WILLIAMS as Molly Cartwright

Born in Kalispell, Montana, Michelle moved to San Diego when she was 9. There she joined a local theater group and found herself soon having auditions in Los Angeles. She ended up with roles in SPECIES as well as the recent A THOUSAND ACRES. On television, she's guest starred on HOME IMPROVEMENT and STEP BY STEP. Now 17, her big break has just recently come about, starring as Jennifer in the hit teleivsion show DAWSON'S CREEK.

ADAM ARKIN as Will Brennen

Son of Alan Arkin, Adam is now in his third season as Dr. Aaron Shutt on the critically-acclaimed CBS series CHICAGO HOPE. Arkin was nominated for an Emmy as "Best Supporting Actor" for his role as Adam on NORTHERN EXPOSURE. Arkin made his Broadway debut in I HATE HAMLET, for which he received a Tony Award nomination. His films include Penny Marshall's MOMS UP ON THE ROOD as well as NOT IN THIS TOWN, A YEAR IN THE LIFE, and BUSTING-LOOSE.

JOSH HARTNETT as John Tate

Josh Harnett, from the television show CRACKER, has been cast in the role of Laurie Strode's son John. A native of San Franciso, he was raised in St. Paul, where he performed in many local stage productions.

JODI LYN-O'KEEFE as Sarah

Born in October of 1978, this talented young actress appears as Cassidy Bridges on the television show NASH BRIDGES. She has also appeared in the soap opera ANOTHER WORLD. The sensuous beauty was spotted for film and television roles as a Ford model and on numerous commercials.

LL COOL J as Ronnie

Famed rapper LL Cool J has appeared in numerous projects. TOYS paired him with Robin Williams. THE HARD WAY, BAPS, and the upcoming WOO are also on his resume. He also starred in the television series IN THE HOUSE.

JANET LEIGH as Norma

Janet Leigh is the real life mother of Jamie Lee Curtis. She's starred in dozens of films, but her most prominent role was in the forerunner of HALLOWEEN, Alfred Hitchcock's PSYCHO. As Marion Crane, she met her demise in the legendary shower scene. She also starred opposite her daughter in John Carpenter's THE FOG. This will be the duo's second time together onscreen.

CHRIS DURAND as The Shape

Chris Durand enters the HALLOWEEN hall-of-fame as this year's Shape. At 6'2" and 195lbs, Durand has experience in movie stunts. On television, he's worked on SEINFIELD, BAYWATCH, BLOSSOM, and many other shows. His feature film credits inclue THE CROW, DEMOLITION MAN, THE LAST BOY SCOUT (which also starred HALLOWEEN 4 and 5's Danielle Harris), THE DOORS, and FORREST GUMP.

A talented crew is working on HALLOWEEN 7. Franchise producer MOUSTAPHA AKKAD continues his work. His son MALEK AKKAD is associate producer. PAUL FREEMAN, who produced 4 and 6, returns to produce this film as well. KEVIN WILLIAMSON of SCREAM fame, penned the story and assisted with the screenplay, helping scriptwriters ROBERT ZAPPIA and MATT GREENBERG.

STEVE MINER, Director

Steve Miner is a veteran of the horror genere. FRIDAY THE 13th Part 2 and 3 were some of his first projects. He went on to direct HOUSE, SOUL MAN, and FOREVER YOUNG. He directed the pilot and served as a producer on the hit show THE WONDER YEARS. Recently, Miner directed several episodes of Kevin Williamson's DAWSON'S CREEK television show, as well as serving as producer.
