Words just in..(well actually I got this two hours ago, but i didn't have time..... here are the spoilers from a guy on alt.friends (newsgroup) who's been to the taping of the premiere. I was at the shooting last night (& it was a boring experience lasting til after midnight & you couldn't really see anything b/c they shot on so many side stages for this ep)). The cast was a little off b/c it was their first week back & they were alternately punchy & tired.....but they came through & it's gonna be great! Last updated - 8/19 Okay, here are more explicit spoilers about the details of season five premiere. this is from a gal who posted this on the news group. The first scene that they shot on Fri. was set at Emily's parents' house at the reception. Em is locked in the bathroom & won't come out. She's screaming at Ross that she was embarrassed & humiliated & she hates him (this begs the question, why did she insist on going through with the ceremony if she hates him & never wants to see him again). Rachel talks with Monica about whether it means anything that Ross said her name, not Em's. Monica tells Rachel that Ross is now married & Rachel's basically out of luck. Rach wants to talk it over w/Ross anyways. M & C try to meet in the wine cellar for a quickie, but are thwarted....They decide that they'll only sleep together while in a foreign country & willl just be friends in NY. Rach talks with Ross, who says it doesn't mean anything that he said her name, not Em's & he's begging Em to come out, but she won't answer. Then, Rach recalls to Joey & Ross that she hid in the bathroom & escaped out the window at her wedding to Barry. They break down the door & Em's gone out the window. Then C & M go to M's room, only to be surprised that Rach is there....she's oblivious to the fact that C & M are together. R asks them to go downstairs w/her & get a drink. They say they want to change first & for R to go down & get a table. C says "we'll be down in 5 minutes." M says, "Make it 15."Then, Phoebe calls & R talks w/her & M & C go back to C & J's hotel room & start making out. Joey tries to come in, begging C to let him in b/c he has a girl with him. C replies, "Well, I have a girl in here too". J says"No you don't, I just saw you go in there with Monica." Then, they try to go to the bridal suite, since R & E aren't going to use it. But Ross comes in & asks them to stay & keep him company. The next morning, C, M & J leave for NY together. C & M sit together & decide that technically, they're over international waters, so they can have xxx. M goes to the bathroom & says, "maybe I'll see you there in a few minutes." As she leaves, J takes her seat & starts talking C's ear off with stupid questions....this was pretty funny, because J just saw the movie "My Giant" & is upset because he thinks he'll never be as good an actor as the giant was in that movie!!! And he'll never be tall enough either. Monica eventually comes back to find C trapped in the seat with J going on & on. They reach NY & are greeted by P, who immediately declares (to J): "You had s** "No, we didn't." P says, "Not you, Chandler, but you, Monica!" M denies. Then, P & J leave & M & C talk about their one-night stand. M thanks C for being there for her & C says it was special for him. But they agree that they'll just be friends. C leaves. M. almost goes after him, but doesn't. Then, C comes back, says, "I'm still on England time, does that count" & they kiss...... Meanwhile, Rach runs into Ross at the airport in London; she's waiting for a standby seat back to NY & he's waiting for em to go to their honeymoon. Rach tells him to go w/o Em. Ross (like an idiot) asks Rach to go with him b/c he needs a friend. Of course (like an idiot) she accepts. Rach boards & Ross returns to the gate for his jacket & sees Em there... Em has seen R & R together & saw Rach go on the plane. Em runs off & Ross chases her. Meanwhile, Rach boards the plane & it leaves w/o Ross. I left after that, so there might have been a final teaser scene....or maybe Rach leaving in the plane w/o Ross was the last closer scene.
