After trying his luck in a action movie BHAGAVATHY Vijay now has chosen comedy in VASEGARAA. While in KAADHAL MANAN the hero goes after a engagged girl in VASEEGARAA the heroinis the one who is engaged with someone else falling for Vijay who had come to the house as a guest.
Vijay a irrresponsible spoilt unemployed youth. Vijay's father Manivannan sends him off to his friend Nasser's house to look for a job, and to learn some responsibilities.Vijay comes to Nasser's house at the time of Nassers daughter's(Sneha) engagment funtion. Nasser allow Vijay to stay in the outhouse and assings servent Vadivelu to look after him.Being brought up pammpered Vijay always chose not to abide strict rules set by Vadivelu and so he don't take Vadivelu seriously and always play practical jokes on him.Meanwhile Vijay also helps in the wddding arrangments and suggest ideas to the family on how a wedding should happen.Later Nasser finds vijay a job and he starts working.
Sneaha slowly develop feeling for Vijay and one day she express her felling for him! Vijay is shocked to hear this and immediately leaves the house but Nasser bring him back. Vijay however hides the reason for him to run away.
Vijay then tries many times to advise sneaha that her felling are not right and tries to keep away from her. But Sneha keep trying and her felling for him grows even more when Vijay accompy Sneha and her sister to her friend's wedding.The three also go out to a theme park where they meet R.Pandiarajan a photographer who secertly snaps photo when Sneha and Vijay are together. This photo then creatres problem when they arrive in Nasser's house during the wedding..........
Vijay as usual performs his best in comedy scenes as well as serious ones. Sneha excels in facial experssions espcially when expresing her fellings to vijay. The other charecters in the movie also perfrom well.The songs are meledious and have a hindi style.Overall Vaseegaraa is a beautiful romantic comedy.
