"Hello travelers, I'm Thomas and I will show you around my world. I've lived here all my life and up till now it have been pretty boring (school, family, you know the drill) But earlier this decade Hitler came to power and life has turned upside down.

It started small, with rules we didn't agree or disagree with, but then his laws began to affect us- for example: the worst was we had to join the Hitler youth! It was a program to prepare us for the army - so instead of marching up and down like trained monkeys we decided to protest the only way we know how- by becoming swing kids!!

Swing Kid- one who listens to American swing music, swing dances (jitterbug etc), dress up in the latest English fashions, watches American movies, wears his hair long (to the ears)

"Being a swing kid is the best, we have our own language, style and we stick together. A swing kid does everything he can to avoid the Hitler Youth! Let me show you around a little!"
