the XFNEWS: none, actually, it's a just an update of my site...
Um, yeah, I know you peoples must be getting pissed that I put my updates on my XF News section, but my parents are getting pretty pissed because I'm not doing my homework, too, which I have to start after I spent a lovely day outside on a trail at the Watching Reservation. So, to make a long story short, I'm tired as hell and have lotsa stuff to do, but I'll try to organize this site a little better by tomorrow- hopefully I won't have that much homework because I'll finish it all tonight. Besides, have you ever tried to update a webpage while a parakeet is pecking at you? Anyhow, forward march with the updates (which aren't much, but no complaining!)
- UK and I spent a huge amount of time laughing so hard we could *almost* cry (key word there- almost)at these hilarious yearbook photos of DD and GA that we got off of People Online for AOL (once again, they belong to all People publications, AOL, Seth Poppel Yearbook Photos, DD, GA, yak yak yak, don't sue me, any reproduction, duplication, or distribution in any form is expressly prohibited). GA in her punk rock heyday, DD in his 70's shaggy dog do... ROTFLOL!!!
- AB's been complaining about the fact that my Links page actually doesn't have any links.... so, i took her complaint to heart and am getting around to creating an actual links page by next weekend.

the XFNEWS: none, actually, it's a just a note....
1) if I don't update this page every day for the next week, don't freak out, because I'll be at dress rehearsals for a middle school play, "The Creepy Castle Hassle" (don't ask) and I have a feeling I'm going to get hit with another be cow dung load of work from school.
2) If you're wondering when you will get sent a newsletter, it probably won't be until the end of April/May.
3) If you've never gone to the official X-files movie site, or have only seen the html version, and have not seen the shockwave version, let me tell you, the shockwave version is a must!!!!! (It's absolutely hilarious!!!) The html version isn't that bad, but the shocked one is just so much more fun! :)
4) As a teenager under 18, I get to say this- (Nelson from the simpsons style) HA HA!!!! Happy Tax Day : P All of you adults who waited till the last minute suck. No offense to any people 18 and older. (Hey, don't hate me cause I'm a teen. At least I don't like Dawson's Creek)

the XFNEWS: Sorry I haven't updated for a while... schoolwork kinda kept me from going online at all... but I do have a LOT up things to post... yea!
- A very, very nice article on DD, his ep, and his baby- David's New World, and here's the cover photo.
- I remembered that DD and GA were on the cover of Rolling Stone once in '96... and it kind of filled the fantasy of every shippie... : ), and GA was on it a second time in 97. I have the article and the cover for that within my own files, but I haven't had the time to put it up yet, so please be patient... as for the 96 article, I don't have it, but I'm sure I can check out the back issue from my library : ) !!!
- I put the ET DD transcript back up, because I remembered that was one of the old links that got deleted.
- This may be old news, but I just discovered the other day while I was reading an old People article that CC was Piper's (Gillian Anderson's daughter) godfather. If you have AOL, you can read "People Profiles" on DD and GA, where they also have old high school photos of them... LOL! I would post them here, but it looks like I'll have to take a trip back to UK's house, because I don't have AOL.
- I added the chat transcript from when CC was on AOL- 2/12/99. Thanx UK for letting me go online at your house. : )
- I posted a bit of fanfic on my message board, which I thought was pretty funny. If you take offense at jokes regarding homosexuality, beware. Thanx AB for sending it my way!

- Congrats to Chris Carter and Gary Ross (Pleasantville) on their winning The Vision Award for Artistic Achievement from the Producers Guild!!!
- This is quite bizarre, but since it's somewhat related to the X-Files, I figured you might want to read it...from Yahoo-Finnish police proble "X-Files" link to triple murder. And a second link from Infoseek- X-Files Suspected in Triple Murder- not much different, but it's got an archive photo...
- From "USA Weekend"- u know, those little tabloid-ish magazines they throw into your newspaper on weekends, like "Parade"- The Webby Awards, which are considered the Oscars of Web sites, will have Celebrity Judges such as Dilbert's Scott Adams, David Bowie on music sites, Tina Brown on online magazines, Kate Spade on fashion home pages, and (drumroll,please) Gillian Anderson of The X-Files on "weird" sites. Hmmmm... interesting. Acceptance speeches, unlike the real Oscar tradition, are limited to five words or a 17-syllable haiku. (Hmph... good idea..). - Ok, this is kinda old news, but since we're slow on anything XF related these days, I figured I'd tell you that on Access Hollywood a while back, they mentioned that Gillian Anderson, wears some of designer Shelli Segal's cashmere sweater sets (y'know, the ones with the sometimes overly dipping necklines.... male admirers of Scully/GA, don't hurt me... seriously, some do go a little too low) who is, btw, sister of director/actor Robbie Benson, who sometimes also gets his female cast of Friends to wear her designs. They also mentioned Tea Leoni that episode and her wearing maternity clothes by Jessica somebody or somebody Lang.... but I don't remember... and she's not part of the XF gang, just DD's wife, so frankly, I don't think it's important.

Just thought I'd like to add this interesting tidbit about the Barenaked Ladies- that name is apparently an allusion to their boyhood habit of giggling at barely clad women in catalogs. Oh, and if u didn't know this yet, they said in a radio interview on a New York station, Z100, please, please, please, will BNL fans stop throwing various kinds of macaroni and cheese, cooked or non-cooked, during performances of "If I had a million dollars..." Sorry if i bored u with that...
