Xena: Warrior Princess first conquored the world of Syndicated television action, September 4, 1995. But this mythical warrior, lived sometime between the second generation after woman was created to 6 AD..... *not very accurate I know* Xena was born in a village called Amphipolis, Thrace in Greece. she was the daughter of Cyrene, and the alleged Atrius, who was killed by Cyrene in order to save Xena's life. (see The Furies) At age 17, Xena's home village was attacked by the warlord Cortese. Along with her brother Lyceus, they led their vilage against Cortese, while their older brother Toris hid. Although they faught hard, Xena lost her brother Lyceus, in battle along with other villagers. Seeking revenge, Xena set out, and became a warlord, terrorizing ancient enemies of her home vilage Amphipolis. One of the slaves she captured was named M'Lila, who would became a very important person in Xena's life, saving her from the evil Caesar, and teaching Xena many of her fighting skills. When Caesar's men kill M'Lila, Xena is enraged, and says "Tell Hades to prepare himself. A new Xena is born tonight... with a new purpose in life.... death!" (see Destiny) With her new lust for blood, Xena meets up with a man named Borias, and together, they conquer and destroy. Again, Xena meets another woman that would change her life, Lao Ma. She teaches Xena the true meaning of life, and gives Xena her title, "Warrior Princess". Although Lao Ma changed Xena's life, Xena doesn't realize it yet. (the Debt I and II) Borias and Xena, later on have a child. Unfortunately, and evil woman named Alti, cast a sell on the child before it was born, so that the child would never experience the love of either parent, Xena or Borias. With that, Borias is killed, and Xena gives up her child, Solan, to the Centaurs, in hope that he wouldn't become a ruthless kiler like her. ****TO BE CONTINUED**** |
