Beth's Poetry Page

Well howdy-doo and welcome to my poetry page! I'm going to be...er...I don't know how to say this. If you would like to submit something to be posted on this page, that's just ducky. However I'm not going to post everything for many reasons which I do not care to list. Not to discourage anyone. Also, for you poetry dudes and dudettes, my dear friend Angela has created a poetry page of her own. If you would like to visit it, you may do so by clicking on this ---> Angie's Poetry Page. And while we're on the topic of poetry pages, Alyson Lipski has a Newsies Poems page, which is also very nice and you should all go see.

Anyways, anything on this page is put up here in hopes that you will read and enjoy it. However, and I am not kidding here, you have absolutely no right to even think about copyright infringing (or whatever that verb is) on any of this stuff. If you desire to publish anything on your page, you may do so by e-mailing the author of that poem. I have made the authors fairly easy to e-mail in hopes that you will not hesitate to e-mail them with your ideas, thoughts, praise, etc. At any rate, have fun and enjoy the show...

You are cool dude number to check out this page since 3/25/99 at 11:25 AM!

Camp Wearami by Beth B.
This poem is about Camp Wearami (pronounced like "Where am I". No joking...) which is a totally bombos and quite possibly the most wonderful place on earth.

Storm by Beth B.
About a storm (no kidding!) which was...really big (great descriptive words, huh?). It happened while we were at Camp Wearami.

No One Will Remember You Tomorrow by Beth B.
This is my newsie poem. It is a highly depressing poem. I was feeling quite depressive when I wrote it, and it's like bitter and...I don't know. I think it's pretty good. Tell me what you think of it. Please.

Water Balloon Volleyball by Beth B.
Yet another of my nostalgic tales of Camp Wearami. I love that place. I have other stuff I write about...but I had to write this one for school, and poetry under pressure is never as good as I'd prefer...so hopefully you'll like it, anyway.

Inspiration: Dedicated to Christian Bale by Beth D.
A poem written by my dear friend Beth (boy, does this get confusing...) which is about being inspired by Christian Bale, who I will also agree is a wonderful and inspirational person. It's a very good poem and I like it a lot.

I Want to Prove my Point by Beth D.
This poem is about the so-called "cult following" of the aforementioned (I learned a new word!) actor, and Beth's take on this.

Dance by Alicia
This is sort of in the style of "beat-poetry" or at least, that's what Alicia says about it. It's a really cool poem.

Morning by Alicia
This is a kinda pretty poem which for some reason reminds me of early morning at camp...anyway it's a nice poem so go ahead and read it, okay?
