The fallowing tips may be helpful to new Pe teachers who are trying to

establish ansd create a positive and orderly learning enviroment for

their classrooms.This certainly isnt all inclusive list but we hope its

helpful.

Get to know students' names

Looking into students' eyes

Greet students at the gym entrance or in the locker room

Have class rules posted clearly in all places which you teach

When instructing keep your " back to wall" as much as possible

While helping individual students with a task or skill,position

yourself so you can see the rest of class.

Keep your eyes up to see everything in the class

Give feed back across the gym .i.e. using a raised voice while

students are practising extend your voice across the gym telling Sally
