D2: The Mighty Ducks.  The Ducks are back w/ some new members from around the country.  They have to go to the Junior Goodwill Games  and face off against the intimidating Finland team.  Along the way coach Bombay's (Emilio Estevez) ego gets to big and they get a player from South Central Los Angeles.  The kids will really enjoy this one and it should be entertaining enough to keep the adults awake.  ***1/2

Daylight. Sly Stallone (surprise, surprise) comes to the rescue when an underwater tunnel collapses.  This movie wasn't quite as bad as I thought though.  Note:  If you have to travel through an underwater tunnel frequently who might want to miss this one.   **1/2

Dead Man on Campus.  Mark Paul Gosselar of Saved by the Bell fame stars in this comedy about two college students who try to find a suicidal roommate so they can get straight A's when he kills himself (The movie isn't as dark as it sounds).  The movie does have some funny parts but drags the rest.  It still provides a few laughs.   **

Desperate Measures. Michael Keaton and Andy Garcia star in this thriller. Garcia's son needs a bone marrow transplant to survive and Keaton's character, a hardened criminal, is the only possible donor. I usually don't like Keaton, but I thought he did a good job.   **1/2

The Devil's Advocate.  This was absolutely, 100% the worst movie I've ever seen.  It was so stupid.  No stars.

Doc Hollywood.  Michael J. Fox stars in this movie about a plastic surgeon from Los Angeles whose car breaks down in a small South Carolina town.  This is a decent movie with a funny story.  ***

Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood.  This movie was really funny.  It had some funny twists on ghetto life, and it contained some funny parodies of some "ghetto" movies.  ***1/2

Dumb and Dumber. This is the funniest movie ever, and if you haven't seen it you must. You'll never laugh harder.  Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels play two idiot roommates who travel to Aspen to return a lost briefcase.  I love this movie. *****
