"Be Careful What You Witch For" (Episode #44)
The Infernal Council plots against the Charmed Ones by sending a Genie to grant their wishes. The sisters unaware the Genie is plotting against them, in order to gain his freedom, accidentally make wishes that turn Prue into a teenager, allows Phoebe to fly and causes Dan to age. As the sisters try to find a way to undo the wishes, their weaken state makes them an easy target for the Dragon Warlock, who seeks to kill the sisters. When they find out that their wishes will only be undone and everything restored when the Genie returns in his lamp willingly, they also realize that teenage Prue has run away with the Dragon Warlock, thinking of him as an other cute guy. When he kills teenage Prue, right when the Charmed Ones find her with him, the Genie says that he didn't expect anyone to get hurt and enters the bottle taking away Phoebe's uncontrollable power to fly and returning Prue and Dan to their respective ages. The only catch is that, through out the episode Dan had to face the reality that Piper and her sister are witches, and though turned back, he still knows. Also, Prue is still dead! Leo, Phoebe and Piper call upon the Genie once again to wish Dan peace of mind, Prue to come back to them and the Genie be free, become mortal... no strings attached. Once the the Charmed Ones are reunited, they vanquish the Dragon Warlock and the season ends as Piper is orbed with Leo to where ever he goes when he is called by Them.

"Apocalypse, Not" (Episode #43)
As the sisters are getting closer and closer to each other, the city is erupting into violence. Piper spots an evil being presiding over a road rage disaster, but he gets away from her. She and her sisters hunt him down, but find he brought along three friends. They try to vanquish the four men, thinking they are anarchy demons, while the four men are trying to kill off the three witches, but instead one of the four men and Prue are sucked into a hole in the ground. Suddenly, good and evil have to work together to get back their missing collegue and their missing sister. They figure out how they opened a vortex to another dimension and how to reverse it. Meanwhile, Leo does some spying and figures out that the four men are actually the four horsemen of the apocalypse, and if Piper and Phoebe bring Prue back from the other dimension along with her apocalyptic friend, the world will end at 7pm. Piper and Phoebe decide they want Prue back anyway, but at the last minute Phoebe has a vision of the end of the world and she and Piper don't go through with it. Due to this selfless act, the sisters prove that there is still some good in the world, and the Source kills off the horsemen. Piper and Phoebe use the opportunity to get Prue back. Meanwhile, Paula Cole performs at P3.

"Astral Monkey" (Episode #42)
A doctor (guest star Matthew Glave) who treated Piper (Holly Marie Combs) when she was dangerously ill has been trying to uncover the reason for her miraculous recovery and accidentally acquires the powers of all three Halliwell sisters, Prue (Shannen Doherty), Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) and Piper, during a blood transfusion.

"Ex Libris" (Episode #41)
Phoebe tries to help the ghost of Charlene, a fellow student who was killed by a demon known as Libris to prevent the publication of her thesis proving the existence of evil. With Prue's help, Phoebe and Charlene try to vanquish Libris before he can kill Phoebe, but are surprised to learn that Charlene's ghost cannot move on to the next plane of existence until she helps Prue aid a father on a quest for justice in his daughter's murder, which occurred several years earlier. Meanwhile, Piper's efforts to get the nightclub ready for a performance by "The Goo Goo Dolls" (latest hit 'Broadway') are interrupted when Dan reveals unsettling news that Leo was married.

"Chick Flick" (Episode #40)
Phoebe's infatuation with a fictitious character in a horror movie, Billy, leads the sisters to cross paths with the Demon of Illusion. The demon bent on causing chaos through horror flicks soon discovers, after Phoebe's initial attempt to banish him, that he can move characters from films into the real world. The sisters soon find themselves facing real life versions of an axe murderer and Bloody Marie, a knife wielding maniac, from horror films, that their powers have no effect on. Though they soon learn that these psychos can be killed like they were scripted to die: Bloody Marie was thrown out of a window and the axe murderer was electrocuted. When they are vanquished, the Charmed Ones find out that more killers from horror movies are on the loose, and the only way to kill them all in one shot, is to vanquish the source, the Demon of Illusion by trapping him in a movie, which ended while he was still in it. Meanwhile, Piper first normal date with Leo has her bumping into Dan on a date of his own. Prue finds a chance to work with a photography role model isn't what she thought it would be.

"How To Make A Quilt Out Of Americans" (Episode #39)
An old friend of their grandmother's, Aunt Gail, comes to the Charmed ones asking for their help vanquishing a spirit demon who is peeling the skin from carcasses to create a solid body for himself. The three sisters are horrified when they realize that the call for help is actually a trap, and Gail is actual setting them up so she can trade their powers for eternal youth. After losing their powers to the demon Cryto, they must use what they know about their own powers against him to regain them and vanquish him back to his skinless spirit form. Piper is sick of the life complications that go along with being a witch, and is ready to leave her power with the nasty youth demon, but her sisters convince her to stick with it.

"Murphy's Luck" (Episode #38)
A dark lighter is trying to drive a good woman who helps the less fortunate to suicide so that she won't be able to become a white lighter when she dies. Prue rescues the unlucky woman by casting a good luck spell and now the dark lighter seeks to eliminate Prue to remove the spell protecting Maggie from his powers. With help from her sisters, Prue resists the dark lighter and his telepathic messages to suicide. Dan is out of town, and Piper is planning on breaking up with him for Leo, but refuses to be with Leo until she has the right opportunity to properly break up with Dan. Leo is frustrated, but understands, but when the sisters have to face the dark lighter and Leo can't help them, he begs for his powers back and gets them just in time to capture the dark lighter and take him away.

  • Updated!!! "Give Me A Sign" (Episode #37)
    The criminal mastermind, Bane Jessup, returns rekindling the sparks between him and Prue. When Bane narrowly escapes an attack by a powerful demon named Litvack he kidnaps Prue and forces her to use her powers to save him from certain death. After Piper and Prue "rescue" their sister from a compromising situation they are reluctant when Prue tries to convince them to help her destroy the demon anyway. Meanwhile, the mutual attraction for Prue and Bane is difficult for Prue to deny and a spell that Phoebe cast to help Piper decide between Leo and Dan only adds to her confusion.

    "Pardon My Past" (Episode #36)
    Phoebe is haunted by her past life as a devious witch back in the roaring 1920's and casts a spell to visit her past life finding Piper married to Dan and Prue a successful photographer. Phoebe is horrified to find out she was seduced by an immortal Warlock named Anton to destroy Prue and Piper. The eerie attacks on Phoebe's present life were brought on by a curse that Prue and Piper cast on Phoebe in her past life destroying her in 1924 and all future lives. Phoebe's only hope is to find an enchanted necklace that can protect her from the curse, but, when she goes back in time to retrieve it she is trapped. Anton appears in the present ready to join the evil Phoebe who now has the enchanted necklace on to protect her while the present Phoebe is being strangled to death back in time. Prue and Piper manage to divert the evil Phoebe's powerful fireball rage onto Anton and as he burns out of sight they tackle the evil Phoebe tearing the necklace off her. When the good Phoebe is able to return they immediately place the necklace back on her saving Phoebe from their own curse to destroy her. The entire event was confusing for Phoebe who is heartbroken by her past evil ways and Piper who learned although she was married to Dan in a past life, Leo was her lover. Piper apparently had to choose between Dan and Leo before, and, Leo knew it all along.

    "Animal Pragmatism" (Episode #35)
    Three of Phoebe's friends, Brooke, Andrea and Tessa from her study group are depressed when Valentine's Day hits, and they have no dates. Phoebe accidentally tells them what a real spell would be, and they perform it on three animals. A snake, a pig and a rabbit. The three animals turn into humans for twenty-four hours and they turn on the three girls and hunt down the sisters in order to stay that way. Phoebe has to make up a spell to turn them back before they terrorize everyone in sight, but ends up turning everyone in P3 into animals, the three real ones included! When using another spell to turn them all back, Phoebe notices that the animals turned human, are now human for good. While they go to prison for agression, Prue deals with being unemployed while Piper is torn between Leo and Dan. Guest starring Janice Robinson.

    "Awakend" (Episode #34)
    When Piper suddenly comes down with a mysterious and life threatening illness which the hospital staff is unable to cure, Prue and Phoebe ignore the code which prevents witches from using spells for personal gain and cure Piper with an "Awakening Spell," with the unfortunate side effect of spreading the disease to other patients in the hospital. Determined to save innocent lives, Piper puts her own life in danger to reverse the spell, forcing Leo to break another code in order to protect her. At the end, when Leo becomes mortal, he is decided to get Piper back, even though she cares for Dan now. Meanwhile, Prue makes a life changing decision when she quits working at Buckland's and stops her relationship with Jack.

    "Reckless Abandon" (Episode #33)
    While Phoebe is at the police station trying to get work as a police psychic from Morris, an abandoned baby is brought in that gives Phoebe a vision of a ghost attacking him and his father. After she brings the baby home, she and her sisters figure out that the baby belongs to a wealthy family in the neighborhood. It turns out that the family chauffeur was obssessed with the matriarch of the family, and so the patriarch killed the chauffeur. Now the chauffeur is haunting the woman, methodically killing off every male member of her family to torture her. The baby Phoebe found is her grandchild, and the last male alive in the family. The sisters try to vanquish the ghost by spreading a potion on his bones which are on the grounds of the family mansion, but the ghost catches them and hides his bones. The only other way to vanquish the ghost is to destroy the object of its obesession. The grandmother convinces the sisters to tell her this, and then commits suicide to send the ghost to hell. The Charmed ones realize how difficult taking care of a baby is, but also find their own maternal instincts that they didn't know they had. Meanwhile, Jack tries to persuade Prue to accompany him on a business trip and Piper's relationship with Dan takes an exciting turn.

    "Heartbreak City" (Episode #32)
    A dateless Phoebe comes to the aid of Cupid when a demon of hate named Drazi steals Cupid’s powerful love ring and sets out to destroy all his recent love matches. Cupid's future looks bleak as he watches the couples he's paired go from loving mates to sparring enemies and the bad vibes are spreading into the relationships of the Charmed Ones. Prue uses her newly discovered power of astral projection, to help Piper and Phoebe kill Drazi, but Drazi returns from the dead to wreak havoc in the love lives of the Charmed Ones a second time since he was wearing Cupid's ring. Phoebe convinces Piper to freeze the demon of hate, returning Cupid his love ring, so that the second time they try the demon is banished forever. All returns to normal in the love lives of the Charmed Ones and many others. Even Phoebe gets a thank you kiss from Cupid that leaves her smiling.

    "Ms. Hellfire" (Episode #31)
    When the Charmed Ones barely escape an attempt on their lives by a mysterious hit woman known only as "Ms. Hellfire," Prue assumes the assassin's identity in order to find out who hired her. While Piper and Phoebe race against time to protect the next potential target on the hit list, who turns out to be an annoying witchcraft practitioner, Prue's undercover work gets her flirting with a cute criminal named Bane who ultimately leads the Halliwell sisters to a confrontation with their old enemy, Barbas. Meanwhile Dan asks Piper to move in, permanently, which she later declines to stays at the Halliwell Manor. Also, at Buckland's, Jack and Prue team up when a new boss is hired: they have an assignment which is due the next day, and since Prue is kicking demon but with her new power, astral projection, she sells Ms. Hellfire's jewels for 275,000$! In the end, Prue feels more out-going from impersonating Ms. Hellfire, and goes out celebrating with Jack.

    "P3 H20" (Episode #30)
    We learn that Prue often goes to the lake where her mother died, to think. But when Prue is saved by Sam, an ex-white-lighter to their mother, from the demon in the lake, while trying to help someone who was drowning because of the monster, the Halliwell sisters get together to try and vanquish it, and stop the camp from re-opening! Meanwhile they learn that Piper and Leo weren't the only witch and white-lighter who ever fell in love, Sam and the sister's mother did too! So, with Sam's and Leo's help, they vanquished the demon. All ends well with Piper still in the middle of the love triangle between Leo and Dan, and Sam joining the sister's mother in the afterlife.

    "They're Everywhere" (Episode #29)
    Prue and Piper give in to their fears that Dan and Jack may be Warlocks and cast a mind-reading spell to find out the truth. Meanwhile, a group of brain-zapping Warlocks called the "Collectors" are after a cute young man, Eric who has translated ancient tablets that contain all historical events in the past and future. Eric destroys the actual stone tablets, limiting the knowledge to his own mind and becoming prey to the "Collectors" who want the knowledge of the tablets. Phoebe finds this out when she volunteers to help at the hospital that Eric's dad is staying at, until the Collectors take Eric's dad, to use him as bait so they can lure Eric to them. But when Phoebe interfears, they zap her and Eric, erasing her memory of Eric and vice versa. Prue and Piper use their ability to read each others minds and trick the Warlocks into zapping each other right out of existence saving Eric, his father and a bewildered Phoebe. Luckily, Prue and Piper find out their recent flames are not Warlocks, although Jack has been playing tricks on Prue with his twin brother. Piper takes a romantic leap of faith and heads off for the weekend with Dan. And Phoebe and Eric get off to a new start.

    "That Old Black Magic" (Episode #28)
    Tuatha, a witch that kills good witches, is accidentally set free after being entombed in a cave for two hundred years. The Halliwell's learn from Leo that only the Chosen One, a teenage boy named Kyle, has the ability to destroy Tuatha by using her magic wand against her. Prue has a run in with the head of an internet auction site that is interested in purchasing the wand but fortunatly keeps it away from him untill the end of the episode when it has no use the the Charmed Ones, since Tuatha has been vanquished. Meanwhile Leo realizes that he can't give Piper a normal relationship, so he leaves. The episode ends with Piper and Dan making out, and Prue and the cute guy from the internet auction having drinks together.

    "She's a Man, Baby, a Man!" (Episode #27)
    A major heat wave has hit San Francisco and Phoebe is suffering from it. Her temperature keeps rising and she has wierd dreams where she kills men when they get intimate. After Morris asks Prue for help solving the killing of four men, Phoebe fears she may be a Succubus, a dark-powered witch that seduces men and the sucks out their testerrone, since the vistims are the guys she dreams about in her sleep. Prue suggests that she cast a spell to attract and destroy the Succubus by fire and have Piper's power ready to stop time in case Phoebe is correct. Fortunately for Phoebe she was mistaken, but unfortunately for Prue the spell turns her into a man. Phoebe finds out that she is psychicly linked to the Succubus and sees what she sees, feels, hears etc. They go to the dating club, where all the past men have died, Prue/Manny begins to make a dating tape to try to attract the Succubus. Piper finds Dan's tape and looks at it. They save Owen, a guy whom Phoebe likes, from getting killed and the Succubus misses her feeding so in turn Phoebes temperature rises to 102.5. Eventually they find out that the Succubus is the registration womman from the dating service's front desk and they destroy her. In the end the Cranberries play. The girls all have dates and dance- Piper with Dan, Phoebe with Owen and Prue with Alan.

    "The Devil's Music" (Episode #26)
    Piper has trouble with her new club untill a manager with a great band comes to her. Piper finds out that not only did Leo send the manager to her, but the manager is in league with a demon that eats human souls. He lours young girls to the demon making them think that they'll meet the band in exchange for popularity. The Charmed Ones get together with Leo and take him down when he aims for the little girl next door. Now Piper is mad at Leo for not telling he was the one who sent the band, and leaves us hanging there deciding if she'll choose Dan, the guy next door or Leo, her protector.

    "The Painted World" (Episode #25)
    Prue gets a painting from a women and starts to investigate it, noticing a light and a man appearing in the picture. An x-ray exposes a Latin incantation underneath the picture, and Prue is sucked in the painting. Her sisters don't believe her at first until Piper takes the picture home and says the incantation that gets her in the picture with her sister and a trapped man. Phoebe wants to get a job that requires an aptitude test, so she casts a 'smart spell' to gain instant knowledge in everything she absorbs. After she sees Piper getting sucked into the picture, she finds the reversing spell and is face to face with the 'warlock' that was traped inside the painting and his girlfriend. While traveling back into the paiting with the warlock and his girlfriend, who is also a warlock, Phoebe snatches the reversing spell and frees her sisters while the two warlocks burn inside the painting.

    "Morality Bites" (Episode #24)
    When Phoebe has a vision of herself being burnt to death, the sisters travel ten years into the future to learn what happened. Once there they discover Phoebe used her powers to kill someone, which caused a local DA to begin modern day witch trials as a platform for political office. As Prue and Piper try to save Phoebe, they both are surprised and somewhat disappointed to learn how their lives turn out. Piper has a daughter with Leo, who is now her Ex and Prue is to busy working to get involved with men. With the help from Leo, they try to save Phoebe with several spells, but they are too late, Phoebe is burnt at the stake. At that moment, Prue, Piper and Phoebe are sent back to the present alive and well. But they've learned their lesson: The Charmed Ones are here to protect the innocent , not punish the evil.

    "Witch Trial" (Episode #23)
    Abraxas steals the Book of Shadows and begins to undo the spells, releasing old vanquished foes of the Charmed Ones. When Phoebe realizes if Abraxas undoes the spell that granted them their powers, they will no longer be witches, Prue thinks it might be for the best because she blames herself and her powers for Andy's death. Spirit regained and with help from the power of three, Prue and her sisters vanquish Abraxas and succesfully retrieve the Book of Shadows.
