2Pac lived for his music. His music was his art and it was one of the most important things in his life. Pac's dream was to have his own record label, to enable him to bring his music to his fans and we are very happy to be able to fulfill this dream with Amaru Records. We've been blessed with the fact that 2Pac left a large body of work as his legacy, so this project is the first of many to come and it is our gift from 2Pac to you.

I wish there was a way to thank every person involved with this project, because it would never have happened without the heartfelt dedication we have from each and every one of them. It has been a work of cooperation and a labor of love from the beginning to the end. Every aspect of this project has a little magic in it by sharing 2Pac's music with you we hope to keep the magic alive.

From our family to yours,
Afeni Shakur

Keep the faith in me, I will not let u down!
Love 2PAC
