Just a few more notes on the Greatest Hits CD, Troublesome96 has been modified slightly and same with Unconditional Love and there is a new version of Toss it Up on the CD, and How Do You Want It is censored (the part about Delores Tucker - she sued for 9 million dollars) . As well, the older songs on the CD sound better than on the CD they were originally released on. Check out for example TRAPPED on 2pacalypsenow and then on the Greatest Hits CD - it is tight having those songs in better quality. Also All Bout U is a new version with 2Pac and TOPP DAWG - Topp Dawg drops the last verse in the song replacing Snoop's talking in the original.
Another remarkable thing about this CD is it a JOINT venture between Deathrow and Amaru (with michel'le being the project coordinator!) As well as the unreleased tracks, two [god bless the dead and changes] are copyrighted by amaru and two [uncond. love, and troublesome] are copyrighted deathrow. This means that Deathrow and Amaru have most likely come to some settlement regarding the unreleased material and Deathrow will be putting out some 2Pac on their upcoming releases.

Some info about the cover of In His Own Words: To the left of the 1996 grave, there is a headstone that says "Eazy" on it and to the right of that there is one that says "Notorious." The guy holding the basketball is Davey D.
Interview: 2. about Bay area & the System, 4. about Suge Knight/Death Row, Biggie, East Coast/West Coast, 6. about beef wit' Biggie and his homeboys and NY shooting, 9. about Dre, Gridlock'd, Janet Jackson, the future, himself [2Pac], 10. about project wit' Jodeci, Hit 'Em Up, When We Ride On Our Enemies, Mobb Deep, 12. about his latest projects
Theres 16 tracks, there is 5 songs on it Mourn Ya Till I Join Ya, both songs that Trapp remixed (Be The Realist and Stop The Gunfire) there is 1 unreleased 2pac song called "In His Own Words" In my opinion, 2pac never even knew about this song. I believe this because there are interview parts from the cd mixed in the song. (But i'll talk more about this later). Also because the lyrics in the song are the same as 2pac's lyrics in the song "Slipping into Darkness" w/ the Funky Aztecs. The only difference is pac's verse is split up into 2 verses on "In His Own Words" The chorus is different too. There is also an Outlawz song on it too (2pac is ,not on this song). It's called "Practice What You Preach" I really like this song. The cd itself is very good. It is narrated by some guy and he tells 2pac's life story. The cd cover is orange, it shows a picture of a guy bending down w/ his hand on a basketball looking up at a huge grave w/ an angel on it. The interview, see [Interview by Sway of The Wake Up Show...it first aired on KMEL's Westside Radio on April 19 1996], is real good pac says that he was going to release a home video w/ music videos for Ambitions as A Rider and some of the other hardcore songs. He also says he made a video for ALL ABOUT U (Which most of us already knew) and All Eyez on Me. -- Info by Aaron.J.D. Bastin update 04-17 "Daz was talking the other day about 700 unreleased Tupac songs. I guarentee whoever reported that originally made a typo because 70 makes a lot more sense. Anyway he said he was working on a couple albums. One was called "Makaveli : One Nation" which will feature Buckshot Shorty, Smif-n-Wessun, Daz, Kurupt, Snoop, all the Death Row people, Heltah Skeltah, Nice N Smooth, B-Legit, Eazy E, Spice 1, Bone Thugs N Harmony, and Scarface. Basically all the people that Pac respected in hip hop. Some songs will not feature Pac though. Daz is mixing this one down now. A fall release should be expected although the Cocoa Brovaz reported that the Duck Down portion of this album isn't coming out until 2000 which I reported in a previous update. The other album was called "Makaveli and Dillinger." This one is Daz's beats and Pac's lyrics with Daz possibly lending his vocals to a few choruses and such. Both albums, along with the Outlawz' "Retribution" are supposed to come out on 2pac's Makaveli label."
With this album Tupac wanted to calm the East\West beef and the beef with Bad Boy Records.
This album was put together by Boot Camp Click and Tupac.

Makaveli Part 2 "An eighteen track, seventy minute hodgepodge of unreleased tracks and interviews has so far been spied at better bootleg outlets in New York, Detroit, Chicago, Oakland, and Los Angeles. Many of the tracks feature Tupac's proteges, The Outlaw Immortalz, and a number of track listings include the names of performers Tupac summarily disses. Afeni Shakur's Amaru Records has the rights to nearly all of her son's unreleased tracks, but the rights to many of the songs on "Makaveli 2" still belong to Death Row. Even though they prominently feature Tupac, they were originally recorded for use on the Outlaw Immortalz album. A spokesperson for Death Row says that they are aware of the bootleg and that a majority of the tracks will appear on the Outlaw LP, due out this Spring." [MTV]
