A lot of you may wonder why my nickname is Daneo, or why my e-mail address is daneo@qx.net. I figured I'd fill anyone who really cared in on the whole root of the nickname.
It all started back in my freshman year in high school. My friend Marc and I were in physical science together; I sat on one side of the room, and he sat on the other. Well, the class was pretty boring at times, so Marc just started doodling around, and he came up with this idea for a cartoon character based on me. Her name was Daneo, and her super power was her long hair (at the time, I had very long hair). She fought the forces of evil by tying up the feet of her nemeses with her hair. Marc created several nemeses based on teachers and students at our school.
Marc only drew two or three complete cartoons, but the name stuck. In fact, when it came time to choose our names for Spanish class, I opted to use the feminine version of Daneo (Danea). And that's the story of Daneo.
