The Blair Witch Project is one of the best movies of the year, and one of the most important horror movies of the decade. The plot is simple, and this is taken from the ads and opening of the movie: IN OCTOBER OF 1994, THREE STUDENT FILMMAKERS WENT IN THE WOODS NEAR BURKITTSVILLE, MARYLAND TO SHOOT A DOCUMENTARY. THREE YEARS LATER, THEIR FOOTAGE WAS FOUND.
That's about all I should say about this movie, as it's really best to go in (or rent it) not knowing. But I will offer a few warnings: If you're looking for creepy/scary Silence of the Lambs type heebie jeebies, you're in for them. If you're looking for gore, it won't be found. Also, if you don't have a brain, let me spell it out for you: T-H-I-S I-S N-O-T A D-O-C-U-M-E-N-T-A-R-Y!!!!!!!!
