OVERALL- **1/2 Friday the 13th.... ah! I remember the days when I was very young. I was too young to experience the gore of the 80's. The magic that was Halloween and Friday the 13th. While Halloween sure beats Friday the 13th in terms of quality, one thing is for sure - this is a sleep-over must. Great to watch with friends. Hardly any new plot thoughout the series (most new plot ruined the story anyway-Part 9). Take my advice and rent the first four. Those are the best. Here's a little plot summary- Young boy drowns at Camp Crystal lake in mid-fifties. After that, Camp Crystal Lake seems to have a death curse........ For people who haven't seen the first, I won't give away any more.... the ending WILL surprise you! Watch with the lights off folks, and DON'T forget the popcorn!
