- ***1/2 Yes, the shining I've been waiting for. This one follows the same premise as the original (family goes in to haunted hotel cause husband's caretaker)- Husband is brought down by the ghosts. I really don't feel like going into the story on this (it's 6 hours long), but let me say it's very good. It explains everything the other movie decided was unimportant, and was a very good movie. Am I sounding stupid yet? Okay. Worth watching just for the FOUR STAR ending.
