- *** Imaginative story (based on the comic book which I was a fan of by Todd McFarlane) about a super-hero who is directly tied into the battle between Heaven and Hell, good and evil. Al Simmons works for a government agency as an assassin who is killed by the same agency which he worked for. He is sent to Hell (being a killer), and he makes a deal with the devil to see his wife again. The devil sends him five years into the future, burned, and with limited special powers. From here the plot continues, and I'll leave it for the intrigued to see the rest..... Good story about what your actions can get you into, with superb religious over-tones. Masterfully dark and creative. A must see for a fan of the comic, or otherwise....
